All the set up work is done, shakedown is complete and the tools are packed. The container and the cars will be leaving on their way to the US next week for Rennsport Reunion V at Leguna Seca. Look out because the Aussies are on our way.

Testing at Picton Kart Track last Friday with the UTS Motorsports team.
Got another chance to drive the UTSM13 car and it's improved a lot in the last few months, which is a good sign for their 2015 electric car. Its great to be involved with the UTS FSAE team as educating the next batch of young Australian race engineers is hugely rewarding.
The UNSW FSAE team also made an appearance with their 2014 car which is improving as well.
In the shop today starting preparations for our trip to leguna seca for RennsportV in september.
A lap on-board with Mark Mcaleer on one of the few that didn't have a safety car during race 1.
He was driving Chris Stannard's 993 RSCS during a very wet and hazardous Bathurst Motor Festival Prodsport 1hr Race.

A really nice photo that Matt Hart took of the #12 last time we were out at EC. Give his blog a look.

Ready and rearing for race 1 to start. Horrible weather should make things interesting.
All set up and ready to start racing tomorrow. The weather seems undecided at the moment, but we will see what the gods throw at us tomorrow.
In related news, we are now sharing the Garage with the #41, so it should be a great weekend with everyone in together.
Bathurst, Here we come
Its that time of year again where we make the trip west for the Bathurst Motor Festival. This year we will once again be working with Chris Stannard and 2 race cars from his Porsche Collection.
Chris will be competing in 2 x 1 hour endurance races in his recently rebuilt 993 RSCS following a massive accident during last years race.
Click through to watch the crash from last year
Through over 1000 hours of work, the car has now been completely rebuilt by James and CQ. Its now prepped and ready to hit the mountain once again.
The car was stripped back, straightened, re-sprayed and then reassembled with a myriad of new parts replacing old & damaged components. It was a massive undertaking to even get the car close to hitting the racetrack this weekend, and following a super human effort by James, We are really looking forward to seeing it attack the mountain once again.
The other car we will accompanying to Bathurst is Chris' 964 RSR. This car is unique (1 of 1) as it is the only RSR ever produced by the Porsche factory in RHD. It is also the very same car that won the 1994 Australian Porsche cup championship for Geoff Morgan.
Chris aquired this car from geoff in 1995 and raced it in the local Carrera Cup championship for some time. He sold it soon after, but re-aquired it 6 years ago and started a major restoration. The car has been complete for almost 3 years now, and this will be the 2nd time it has been to Bathurst since its rebirth.
Chris will be driving this car in the PCNSW regularity events throughout the weekend.
Finally, Geoff Morgan and Simon Hogg will be driving the #41 1975 Carrera 911 (affectionately known to everyone as BAZZ) and they will also be competing in the Prodsports endurance races.
For those in the know, we usually work with Geoff during the Australian Historic Group S rounds. This weekend, while we wont directly be working on this car, we will be keeping a watchful eye on its progress and helping out where we can.
Geoff is coming off of a strong outing at the Phillip Island Classic in this exact car, and both Geoff and Simon will be looking to improve on the lap times the car was able to produce during last years race. It is not uncommon for the #41 to be fighting with much newer machinery, and last year was no exception as Geoff and Chris had a battle on track during one of the ProdSport races.
So it sure to be an busy but interesting weekend up at Bathurst. We will keep you posted.
We got an unexpected delivery today. Official VIP passes to the world premiere of 'The Road to Monterey' arrived today. Psyched to see this movie.
Australian GP winner in 1938. Still winning at Phillip Island in 2015. Very impressive blown ERA all the way from Europe.

This weekend we had Ron Goodmans 914-6 to look after at the Phillip Island historics.
Waiting for the dyno
Unfortunately, we wont be attending the first race of the year for Group S. We may be missing our first round, but the #12 will be ready to race at the Phillip Island Historics in 2 weeks time. Good luck to all the other competitors for this weekend at Wakefield.
