I've painted a lot of glass wings, and now I want to explore all the possibilities with stained glass wings. What's your favorite type of stained glass? I love nature so anything botanical or starry would be my fav.

I have cried a lot with this series so I know seeing this animated will make me a puddle on the floor. Especially with how the anime used the tightrope metaphor to begin the first episode and how it was the scathing words of those around Sakura that whipped up the wind and make him (his heart) unsteady on the tightrope ultimately leading him to fall.

But here, after Keel, Sakura's willingly jumping from the tightrope. He's started to learn that Furin is not like where he was before. That the people here are not like the ones before. Yet there's still that lingering “what if” — “what if they only see me because my fighting strength has been of use to them? who am I now now that I've failed them?”. And class 1-1 cuts through these thoughts and Sakura realises he wasn't jumping from a high place into an abyss at all. It's grassy, it's open, it's warm, it's free.

And they're there. the ones he's slowly learning to see as friends. As family. They don't shun him or judge him. They reach out to him.
