Group Stray Kids sold out all 3000 seats of their debut showcase and are proving to be ‘super special rookies’.

Stray Kids will hold their debut showcase titled ‘Stray Kids UNVEIL [Op. 01 : I am NOT] on the coming 25th at 6PM at the Seoul Jang Chung Sports Arena. Garnering attention for being very scale especially for a debut showcase, this past 8th through INTERPARK ticket reservations all 3000 seats were sold out.

This showcase is already garnering attention from fans as the stage that will make known Stray Kids’ (who have gained recognition through Mnet’s reality program ‘Stray Kids’ and their pre debut album ‘Mixtape’ released in January) official start. Stray Kids will show their rookie-esque spirit, their performances dull of dynamic energy, etc. and many other various sights through this first showcase.

The showcase title uses the word ‘UNVEIL’, meaning to take off a veil, and the phrase ‘Op. (opus)’ used before numbers assigned to a project and conveys the meaning that Stray Kids will be showing the songs and performances that they have personally spent a long time preparing for to the world.

Stray Kids will release their debut mini album titled ‘I am NOT’, filled with self composed tracks, and title track ‘DISTRICT9’ on March 26th.

Stray Kids released the info above at 12AM of the 13th through their various SNS accounts and drew attention with the image of the ‘I am NOT’ tracklist.

In the ‘I am NOT’ trailer video released on the past 5th, they let known a meaningful start through the portrayal of realizing something within a uniformized space. The album name defined as ‘I am NOT’ along with the title track’s name ‘DISTRICT9’, which seems to symbolize a special region, already stimulates interest.

Stray Kids participated in the composition and lyrics of not only title track ‘DISTRICT9’, but also side tracks ‘NOT!’, ‘MIRROR’, ‘AWAKEN’, ‘ROCK(돌)’, ‘You’re Doing Well’, ‘3RD EYE’, and ‘MIXTAPE#1’, showing their musical ability.

Pre-debut album ‘Mixtape’, released in January, is receiving love from both domestic and overseas fans. Title track ‘Hellevator’’s MV hit 20 million views on Youtube this 10th, and reached #1 on iTunes album charts in Finland, Norway, Sweden, and the Philippines. Also in 14 countries they entered the top 10 on iTunes’ album chart rankings.

Stray Kids were also picked as #1 on Billboard’s ‘Top 5 New K-Pop Artists to Watch in 2018’.

Stray Kids’ debut mini album ‘I am NOT’ will be released offline on the coming 26th and all tracks excluding ‘MIXTAPE#1’ will be available through music sites that day starting at 6PM.
