Dear Taylor, today i was diagnosed as terminal cancer patient. my chemotherapy was not effective, and there is nothing else my doctor can do. my last wish, is to meet you. my whole heart is broken at the thought of never getting to hug you and thank you for all you done for me. i am praying to meet you in kansas city, because that’s my last show. you have taught me so many important values. Taylor, This is one of my best friends Astrid ( @onetayaday ) . We have only met 3 years ago online because of you and became really close immediately. Over the past years we both had a really rough time & struggled with a lot of things. But one thing we have in common is that when no one else understands us, we turn to your music …but since we know each other we also turn to each other! Astrid is such an amazing human being and next to you, she just gives the best “clean speeches”. She always supported me & listened to me when I was down. I really want you to get to know her. Without you, she would’ve never came into my life. Also you pretty much saved Astrid’s life when she struggled with things & it would mean everything to her if you knew that. We both love you so, so much and had an unforgettable time at your Wembley shows. P.s. WE’RE DOING BETTER THAN WE EVER WERE! We both got out of our toxic working places; I moved from Germany to London to follow my dreams and Astrid will go from Belgium to Australia this August - January! Oh and she will see you again in Sydney!! 👀

Gonna keep my Taylor story short-ish

I remember being 15, sitting in my room, writing letters to Taylor that I’d never send as I listened to Fearless on repeat. I wrote about how I was living the album in its truest form. From love to losses, to change and having the best day, Taylor was there. That album came at a perfect time in my life, as I was living through the exact situations that Taylor sang.

Ever since, Taylor has been in my life every step of the way. I’ve sang at the top of my lungs and danced with friends, I’ve cried into my pillow with her in my headphones, I’ve felt vengeful and angry blaring her songs at top volume. But no matter what I was feeling, Taylor was there.

I’m seeing Taylor for my 3rd and 4th time in Louisville and Columbus - the first show being 25 days away. Even if I don’t get rep room or see Andrea or even catch a piece of confetti, I just wanted to share that Taylor has been one of the happiest constants in my life.

Here I am at 25, getting literal tears in my eyes as I think about attending her show and seeing her again. She is a blessing. To live in a time where we have such a strong, beautiful, talented, funny role model like Taylor is amazing, and I’m so thrilled that I have something and someone in my life that brings me so much joy.
