"so what if i am? not like it's a shock." she teased, unable to stop grinning at the sight of him. it had been so long since she'd seen him and well... she always thought of him. martha had moved on from her crush, but he was such an important part of her life. she couldn't help but giggle as he lifted her off the floor. he couldn't help the laugh that escaped him, loud and so full of joy he couldn't hold it back "oh babes, you haven't changed one bit." he grinned and gave her one last squeeze before setting her down. "i was! a blonde! still haven't been ginger but it'll happen." he hadn't realised how much he'd missed his friends. of course, a part of him knew that he did but he didn't realise just how big of a space they'd left in his life. "on and off. don't have anyone right now, but belinda just left the tardis. it's never too long." @fragilestrength

wow, he reminded her so much of her father. how he spoke of his ship and such or was she just missing him and thus was projecting him onto people? "i'm fine by the way, though you seem more concerned about the ship than the person who was inside it when it crashed." jenny mused, standing with her hands atop her hips. she cocked a brow at him. "you're not?" she smiled a little at that. "me neither. though i'm not too sure what i really am. i just know i'm not human." she admitted with a shrug. @onespvrk

the doctor continued his tinkering "of course you are! you're up and walking around, no blood on the outside. besides..." he paused, finally looking up at the woman "my sonic would have alerted me if someone was injured." he flashed her a beaming smile before returning to the console, the section he'd been working on finally lighting up and the display started to work "ha! yes, oh you beautiful thing." the timelord cheered and turned to face the woman "nope. not human at all. there's quite a few species out there that look like humans, not that they were the first to look like this." he chuckled and moved towards her "you don't? maybe my sonic could help figure it out? i've run into so many species in my time travelling, surely i've run into your kind before." @fragilestrength

he seemed to have a sixth sense at finding others like him, beings from beyond the stars ( and the occasional god, but those were rarer these days it seemed ) so when he was headed to his favourite sunny booth he couldn't help but stop and stare at the man... being sitting there "oh, oh! right. yes, very true. sorry about that babes." the doctor stumbled out, his tone apologetic "apologies, i just got the feeling that we might be kindred spirits. so very far away from home." he wasn't going to come right out and say he was an alien if he was wrong, but something in his hearts knew he wasn't wrong. @demongemz

rogue... honestly wasn't sure if he would ever see the other again. it was something he had come to accept given how he had sacrificed himself to ensure that ruby and the doctor were safe. "hello, stranger." rogue teased with a small smirk as he slowly approached. he wasn't sure how much time had passed for the other but for him? it had felt like lifetimes. part of the fun of being stuck where he was. "it's... been a while. how... how are you doing?"

at this point he shouldn't really be surprised. so far he's met so many of his old friends and even past versions of himself, which should be a time paradox in itself but he doesn't have time to think about that right now... rogue. the dashing bounty hunter who stole his hearts then made them break just as quickly. but despite all the emotions running through him, the doctor couldn't help but grin back at the man "hello darling, back from war?" he teased back before giving rogue a once-over to make sure he was physically okay "i'm... good? yeah, i'd say good. much better now." @fragilestrength

for a second, she was about to pull her hands away until... well, it felt... right. like it had all those times before. was it such a shock that the man she loved had shown her two faces before that he could have another? rose let out a choked sob, tears running down her cheeks. "oh my god..." she yanked him in closer and embraced him tightly, sobbing softly. "it's you! oh my god, doctor... it's you." she whispered as she held onto him tightly, scared he might disappear again. "i've missed you so much..." @onespvrk

the feeling of getting to hug rose again had tension he'd totally forgotten about melting away "shhh, it's okay. i've got you." the doctor whispered softly, holding her just as tightly as she held him. the timelord cried quietly "it's me. i'm here." he held her close, one hand cradling the back of her head "are you alright? like, physically. everything good?" there were so many things he wanted to say, so many stories he wanted to tell rose about... but honestly the doctor had no idea where to even begin." @forcafcrtncght

"oh god, i'm so sorry!" ruby mused after she bumped into the other. "are you okay? i'm such a klutz, sorry!" she mused, shaking her head before she finally looked up at the person she'd collided with. her brows raised in confusion. "you... i'm..." she shook her head, a nervous laugh leaving her. "sorry, you just look like someone..." the someone from her dreams. she had always simply assumed he was someone that her brain had created... not someone who actually existed. "who... who are you?"

he knew it was a possibility. really. he knew. he'd seen people that in their own worlds knew each other, but here they were like strangers. so the doctor knew it was a possibility... he just didn't realise it'd hurt so much. here was ruby sunday, back in front of him, but she obviously didn't know him, so he decided to put on his bravest smile and face it head on. "ah, I'm alright! are you okay though?" his concern was genuine "me? i'm the doctor!" @daydrcamerss

"what do you think?" rose questioned as they held up a plush version of the empress of the racnoss. "think it's too... creepy? i mean, a giant red spider with all those eyes and the sorta human torso?" personally? they found it pretty fascinating but they had an interest in aliens after everything. "think it's too scary for people to buy?" though they had received interest for plush versions of other creatures such as the ood, the adipose and countless others.

the doctor studied the plush, memories of when he met donna running through his mind "i think that there are people who will love it. but there are a lot of people who are scared of spiders... maybe you could make it cuter? like one of those squish things?" he suggested before sitting down next to her "the adipose are perfect for a plush, can i get a family discount on one?" @daydrcamerss

amora narrowed her eyes slightly. she'd always found thor to be useful but she found him terribly draining - having to keep up the act of pretending to be one of his adoring fans took far more energy out of her than some of the most complex spells she knew. martha rolled her eyes but the smirk on her features showed she wasn't annoyed by any means. "oh yeah. i think i can believe that's really you." she admitted with a small chuckle. "doctor... it's... it's really you." martha muttered, moving towards him and wrapping her arms tightly around him. "oh, doctor." she mused, squeezing him tightly. the doctor let out a fake, scandalized gasp "martha jones, are you being sarcastic with me?" he teased. it was so easy to fall back into the easy conversation with her, the doctor was just so happy these days. "i've missed you so much!" he hugged her tightly, lifting her up and spinning around just like how he used to "so much happened. i had a massive chin, then i was old, then i was a woman, then i had the face you know again, and then i bigenerated into this face." the doctor pressed a quick kiss to her forehead "of course i'm okay, i'm better than okay! how could i not be when i get to see my friends again?" @daydrcamerss
