Donna, human, no!

All done in watercolor with some minor edits in PS (since I had taken them with a low quality camera instead of scans)

          “It’s perfectly fine, darling,            you’re not bothering anyone.                       Might I ask your name, human?”

      "I am glad to hear my presence isn' a bother to anyone. As for my name... I am Donna, Donna Noble." she spoke, dipping her head down in a nod. The 'human', said enough. The one who had spoken to her was not so.

❝ Dunno. Hadn’t thought that far ahead. Maybe it could like, sing, or somethin’. ❞ Of course, so could the sorting hat, but not very well (in his opinion, anyway). ❝ Whatever it does, I know it’ll be bloody cool. ❞ His eyes flickered towards her, a proud grin tugging at the corners of his lips. Donna wasn’t half bad, he’d determined. And as far as making friends went, he supposed he was doing rather well thus far.

Snapping her attention back to the boy, she tilted her head a bit. "A singing fez." she repeated after him, looking thoughtful for a second before finally smiling brightly and nodding. "Yes, that sounds like a nice idea!" she spoke, perking up when she heard the words 'Noble, Donna' being called. "Oh.. That's my cue! I will see you when we get this done!" she spoke, grasping his hand and giving it a happy shake before darting toward the Sorting Hat.

❝Ooh. Sorry, my bad. Well. Not technically my bad. You know how the ol’ girl can be. But I’ll have you know, I was on my way, as it happens! Just… got a bit sidetracked, is all… ❞ he trails off for a moment, warily lowering his tone to just above a whisper as he utters the last bit, ❝ …with the police. ❞

Donna remained silent for a long while, slowly raising a hand and rubbing her face as she took in a breath. He had gone and gotten himself in trouble with the police. Out of all the things. "Don't they know ye? Can't they jus'... Bail you out? Oh never mind. I am on my way, don' you go anywhere!" spoke the red-head, grasping her jacket and moving out of the house.
