Ebony

“Ma, look at these.” Jayden held up a pair of blue and white Jordan 12’s. “Can I get these?”

“Don’t you already have those?”

“Nah, I got the red and black ones. Can I get them? Please,”

“Fine, get them I don’t care. One other pair, then go to the back and tell your father to bring his ass on. I’m hungry as hell.” I sat down and watched him look all over the store. I saw a couple of pairs that would be perfect for him but he’s picky as hell so he probably wouldn’t even like them.

Trouble

“So you finally decide to show your face?” Bianca bitched at me as soon as I walked through her door. This is the reason why I don’t even bother coming over here. Who feels like dealing with that shit? “Trouble I know you hear me.”

Darnell

Pulling up in front of Vick and Trouble’s tattoo shop I tried to mentally prepare myself for the bullshit I was about to hear. I was at home getting ready to go to work when Vick calls me spazzing out. I’m trying to calm him down but that wasn’t going too well because I could hear Haze and my uncle in the background yelling and shit too. To say I was confused was an understatement. It took me five minutes to calming Vick down before he finally told me what was going on.

Mariah

Walking out of the courtroom Tristan and I were all smiles, happy all of this bullshit was finally over. Today we were granted full custody of Damien, his mother couldn’t come near him unless she had Tristan’s permission. Her visitation was two Saturdays of every month and that was only if he wanted to go.

“We’re celebrating tonight.” Tristan told me as we walked down the hall.

We were about to make our way outside when Carmen outside yelling like a damn banshee. I wanted to turn around and cuss her ass out but I just left it alone. Plus Tristan damn near started dragging me when she started that shit. He already knew what it was and what was going to go down if she got anywhere near me and that can’t happen in a courthouse especially when I’m pregnant.

Amilia

Walking over to my bed I dropped down on it and screamed into my pillow. I didn’t know if I should be scared, happy, upset, excited, I was just confused all together because this shit came out of left field. I don’t know how I’m supposed to tell my mother this, or how I’m supposed to even tell Cameron’s dumb ass about this. I had half of mind to not even say anything at all but that would be stupid and irritating. I didn’t get myself into this situation by myself, so I’ll be damned if I’m the only one stressing over this shit.

Kason

“I’m surprised these niggas got everything right. How did you set them straight?” I asked my cousin after he dismissed everybody from the meeting we just had.

Every month we have a meeting that included everybody, just to discuss how business was going and if there were any problems. Right now everything was going well, there really wasn’t anything to worry about and I was grateful.

Meelah

I wasn’t in my room for five minutes before both of my parents came in. My father was ranting like he always does all the while stripping my bedroom of anything I would consider fun. He took my computer, my iPad, and my phone. He even went as far as to take all of my chargers. He was just doing the most at this point.

Nicole

I downed my fourth shot then closed my eyes as the liquor burned my throat. We’ve been out for a little over an hour and I was already feeling nice. The blunt I shared with Ebony on the way over here, my shots and the damn near empty Long Island Iced Tea I was sipping on had me going.

“You need to stop taking shots. You were supposed to drive back or did your ass forget?” said Mariah. She shook her head at me then stuck a hot wing in her mouth.

Amilia

When Darnell’s phone started ringing again I looked at her with annoyed expression on my face. That shit has literally been going off for the last thirty minutes and I was tired of hearing it. She either needs to answer that shit and talk to Xavier’s annoying ass or turn it off. He and Trouble both have been blowing our phones up for the past two days. I got some common sense and just blocked his ass so he couldn’t call me anymore; I wish this bitch would do the same.

Darnell

Pulling up in front of Millz’ house I beeped my horn for her to come out before I changed my mind about going to handle these bitches. I already didn’t feel like going but I know how Millz is, she doesn’t need anybody with her to pull up somewhere and I’ll be damned If Benadryl and whoever the hell she be around, jumps my cousin. I’m only going to make sure nobody does some stupid shit; if extra bitches wanna jump bad they can get this work. I aint slapped a bitch in a minute.

Ebony

“What the hell is this?” I asked my brother when he and Brandi came strolling up to the door holding hands.

“What’s wrong with you?” Darryl asked me.

Imani

“Daddy you can go now I have everything. What more do you want to do?” I asked my dad while I sat on my bed. Today I was moving into my dorm and he was acting like he didn’t want to leave. I knew he would be like this though, he can’t let go even a little bit.

Trouble

I leaned down to kiss Millz again and she jumped back, I guess her nigga was on her mind. I really didn’t give a fuck about she and Prophet’s relationship. It was more than obvious neither of them really gave a fuck about each other. That nigga was out here fuckin’ everything moving and Millz acts like the nigga doesn’t exist half the time. They don’t give a fuck about their relationship so why the fuck should I?

Darnell Diamond

Walking in my living room I shook my head when I heard Millz arguing with that nigga Prophet on the phone. I swear to God all they do is argue, fight, and fuck. I don’t even think they really love each other they just refuse to let go.

When she hung up the phone I started laughing. “It’s not funny Darnell.”

“Nah it is funny because y’all really go at it too much. What’s wrong now?”

Tristan

Walking over to the bar I slapped hands with Rashad and Kaylin before I took a seat. I was about to be balls deep in Mariah when these niggas called me talking about some meeting up. The only reason I even agreed to come out is because from what Mariah was saying, Kay and Eb was going through some shit so I wanted to see where his head was at. Plus Ebony came over with Jayden and I know Mariah wasn’t about to do shit with her homie at the house. I might as well go chop it up with my niggas since I can’t get my dick wet at the moment.

Imani Diamond

“Darnell why are we here?” I asked my cousin when we pulled up in front of Vick’s tattoo shop. We just spent the whole damn afternoon shopping for my school clothes and the last thing I wanted to do was sit in here with a lot of people. I would rather just go home and go to sleep.

“Vick owes me some money so I need to pick it up then I’ll drop you off at home. Imani why are you always making a big deal out of going places? You need to socialize more.”
