Village Vanguard will be having a Yuri!!! on Ice and Sanrio characters collaboration and will release a bunch of goodies for sale!

Unwrap your Yuri with care.  He is a nervous bean, handle him gently (Do not turn up at his house unexpected and stand before him in all your glory - This will incite shock and make it more difficult for your Yuri to warm up to you).

Approach him with caution for the first couple of months.  He’s unsure of humans until he gets used to them (However will become very loyal once he warms up to you).

He gets hungry often, make sure he doesn’t over-eat - don’t feed him after midnight and don’t give him Katsudon unless he wins the gold.

Encourage his activities and praise him when he performs good (which will be most of the time because Yuri’s usually have untapped, magical hidden talent that allows them to become record breakers).  Too many negative comments will decrease his battery life and will cause him to become inoperable.  When this happens, please wrap arms around him gently and soothe him.

He gets lonely sometimes however will not notify you of this so give him hugs often.  (He also reacts well to kisses in private and stroking of the hair)

On the contrary, there will be times where your Yuri will want to be alone.  Allow him this free time by himself and do not approach him unless he specifically asks you to.

Yuri’s usually react well to dogs.  If you have a dog it will make his life more comfortable.  Yuri’s are also compatible with cats - even feisty, angry little blonde cats.

Love your Yuri unconditionally for the rest of your life.  Your Yuri will love you back more than anyone or anything.

Warnings: Yuri’s are prone to anxiety attacks. Do not tell your Yuri that you will quit being his coach if he fails - this is an example of a catalyst. Do not let your Yuri drink too much alcohol when he’s sad. Do not ask your Yuri to carry your nuts.
