so been getting into homestar runner just because I can, and, as usual for me nowadays, I just wondered "hey there must be brothers Strong in mewgenics cat names list", googling that list, looking at names starting with S - nothing. Like ok I get why none Strong Mad or Strong Sad, but no Strong Bad when he's basically a main character??? So after that I think "ok, fine, but there MUST be Homestar or Homestar Runner as an option", I look it up - nothing again. At this point I slowly start loosing it, like c'mon, there are OVER TWELVE THOUSAND name options, HOW is there no Homestar Runner reference when it's like one of the absolute classics of Flash made cartoons. Desperate I start looking for Bubs - nothing, Poopsmith - nothing, Coach Z - nothing, even Homsar - nothing. There is Marzipan though but that isn't listed as a reference and well that is just a word too so idk if that should be counted. I looked up Dangeresque in the hopes for better - nothing. At this point I make a search by page and write there "homestar runner" and guess what. THERE'S NOTHING. HOW IS THERE'S NOTHING NONE ZERO 0 REFERENCES TO IT IN 12000+ POOL OF NAMES THERE ARE REFERENCES TO ALL THE STUFF THERE AND NONE OF THEM ARE RELATED TO HOMESTAR RUNNER????? I'm loosing my marbles here, just how, that thing literally is 30 years old and had a dedicated fanbase for all that time and no one ever suggested anything from it as a cat name for mewgenics????

That feeling when you're done with one of your old fandoms but then you remember about some headcanons you had for your fav character and now you want to talk about it but you have like one friend who knows abt said fandom and they already know every one of your headcanons

Planning on not participating in artfight this year because reference rule is dumb but I still want to dedicate a month to drawing ppl's ocs so July will still be fun because none of you will know who I will be drawing next
