hybridnik:
“You asked to be free, Elijah. We were respecting that. I just… I didn’t know how to handle any of this. So I… I ran. I don’t know if it was right or wrong or even if it came me what i wanted. But it’s in the past and we have bigger problems to deal with then where we have been. Lets just bury the demons for another day. And fight some real ones.”
“And as much as i would love to blame Hayley for a war. I think we both know that wars have little to do with one man and more to do with a culture. So we need to start now, rebuilt and make sure that this war is done and over. Even if we have to kill almost everyone.” He smirked. “It’s been a few centuries since we have seen a proper battle field.
“I do not fault you brother, you did what you believed was right as did I.” he added before he simply allowed his brother to speak, bowing his head briefly at his words.
“It is far from her fault, the fault lies only with this Wyatt...his ideas bred the war all on their own but yes no fire can continue to burn without fuel be it culture or simply a select group of people that hold his morals.” the two of them had seen their fair share of wars he had few doubts they’d be able to fix the problem or help to do so in one way or another.
He gave a slight smile, “Yes I do wonder if you can even remember how to battle.” he added teasingly.
