Y'all heard it here first.

                                                                                                   YOOOOOOOO!!!!! I’m so happy that Eclipsa got her happy ending. I was honestly scared though when she performed that spell on Meteora. It looked like she didn’t even know what was gonna be the result of her own spell.

But in the end, she did it. I feel like she’s planned this since the very beginning, and to be honest, I’m not sure we can even be mad. Star said it herself, everything has gone downhill since her family took power. Maybe its for the best that Mewni has no royal family after all. Maybe they should try a democracy. Or maybe Im just talking nonsense and all of yall should just ignore me. Maybe this is Eclipsa’s revenge, putting the kingdom of Mewni in disarray for payback of taking away her chance at having a family.

But something in me says that Eclipsa had planned this outcome from the very beginning. Now bear with me cause this is gonna be a very unorganized explaination and not a very good one cause right now Im basically speechless.

This little troll right here has probably also been a part of the plan since the very beginning. Ever since Stranger Danger, the episode where Eclipsa has since been out of the crystal (coincidence, I think not.), Glossaryck has only been saying Globgor, which we just find out is the name of her monster love. He probably even knew that Globgor was crystalized in the monster temple. But what did he have to gain with knowing all this knowledge and not even telling Star or Moon?

THE WAND BEING BACK IN THE HANDS OF THE TRUE ROYAL FAMILY

Think about it. Glossaryck had probably been with Eclipsa to the very end. He probably saw her family torn apart, with her and Globgor being crystalized and her daughter being set down a path that was only gonna turn out bad. Then he was basically forced to tutor the next “royal” heir who was so weak in magic, that in order to keep the kingdom safe, had to move the people into the castle and throw parties everyday in order to distract from the fact that the “queen” couldn’t really do anything against them. Maybe this also explains why he was always so indifferent to everybody’s problems or why he taught them with strange methods. Because they werent the real wielders of the wand.

Eclipsa and Glossaryck probably had it all planned out since the beginning. He knew about her spells that could kill the immortal, but told Moon nothing and forced Moon to go to her. And when that happened, Eclipsa planned on making a bargain for her freedom. Sure it took longer than they both probably would’ve hoped for, but she got out. All they probably wanted to do was throw the kingdom a loop, but not only did they do that, but they also got back the wand and got her family back in the process. Sure in the finale, Eclipsa did help Star defeat Meteora and was probably faced with the anguish that she possibly destroyed her own daughter. Because in the end, Eclipsa just wanted to have revenge without really hurting anybody. Quoting @caninocalamidad, Eclipsa is like her chapter in the book of spells. Dangerous and chaotic but not necessarily evil.

Daron Nefcy even said that the original title of the show was going to be Star AND the Forces of Evil since, even to this day, she feels this better reflects the show. That the characters arent purely evil or good. No character has a strictly black and white moral compass but a balance of both. Not even the villians can be just evil, as everybody has a reason to their actions and an understandable point of view.

Eclipsa Part 2

v quick doodle because i have feelings about them. 

Guys, I am still shooketh from that from that finale, after our entire case tried to take out Meteora…Eclipsa just took her out with a few swipes of a wand and then bam she was gone! But after she was not destroyed but she reverted back to a baby. How is this possible? From what we got from Eclipsa’s reaction she wasn’t aware of the outcome of her spell. She was attacking Meteora destroy her because she knew that she had to stop. Look at her reaction at the end.

She believed she really destroyed her daughter, but that wasn’t the case. After Star returned the wand to Eclipsa, we hear the sound of a crying Meteora. She has been reverted back to an infant. Much to Eclipsa’s surprise and delight, and before she Mary Poppins her way out, she turns to Star and says “thank you”, at first reaction, it seems like she’s thanking her for the wand but no. She was thanking her for her daughter back! Because it was the combination of Star’s magic and her magic that allowed Meteora to be reborn.

Before Eclipsa steps in Star does something to Meteora, which I believe was the key to Meteora’s rebirth. When Star was pinned down at the wall Star says “you want my magic take it…” And in the process, she reverts into her normal form pulls out a ball of magic out of her very being. It shoots directly on to Meteora it only stuns her briefly, but what was that spell exactly. I believe this ball of light is the same magic light she used to recreate her body in. Like with her fight with Toffee. But what was Star’s intention with this ball of light…

I highly doubt that Star was trying to kill with this magic (like she did with Toffee) but rather to try to revert her back to normal. Though it seemed like it didn’t did anything but it did. Keep in mind that her magic powers were increased 10x, power like that to have had some lasting effect. Granted it wasn’t strong enough to stop Meteora, but that’s where Eclipsa’s magic kicks in. We’ve seen light in dark magic combined before like when Star was being tested by Baby. Star had combined the dark and light magic and it seemed to have only cut the apple in half. But it soon regrew into an entirely new apple. Amazing and incredible things can be reached when you combine magic types.

Then we have Eclipsa her magic enveloped in pure darkness, which I believe was meant to destroy Meteora and stop her, but the magic of Star’s spell was still in play.The effects of her magic were still on Meteora. (And if your still a little confused just compare this to pokemon. If you attack an electric type and the effect of their spell was paralysis you’d get paralyzed and the effect would stay for a while.) *end of horrible comparison*  And with that Star’s and Eclipsa’s magic essentially combined. Eclipsa’s dark magic cause the destruction of Meteora's body but Star’s light magic protected her (Meteora’s body) with life and death combine created rebirth.. triggering the transformation back into a baby; giving Eclipsa her daughter back… But what does this mean for Star and the future of Mewni?
