I started an arc where Sabine and Ezra work things out a while back, but I burned out on it two comics short of completion. I got a request recently over on Ko-Fi to go back and finish that storyline, so here we are. If you’re confused and need to catch up on this arc, the best way to do that is to read it on Ko-Fi.

Mandalorian Translations

Haryc b’aalyc - A euphemism for drunk. It technically translates to “tired and emotional.” Which seemed appropriate.

Udesii, cyar’ika - Udessi means “rest” or “be calm.” And cyar’ika is a term of endearment similar to sweetheart or beloved.

Gar dar’solus - A very rough translation would be “You are no longer alone.” But there’s a lot more nuance intended here. I’m not 100% on the grammar, but gar is intended to translate as “you are”. Dar’ is a prefix used to say that someone left or lost something, and it’s usually used for identities. So like dar’buir is someone who lost a child, a dar’jettii is a Sith, a dar’manda is a former Mandalorian. And solus means alone, but it also means vulnerable. So the word dar’solus is intended to convey that being alone and vulnerable is a former identity, one that’s been given up and no longer applies.
