Since the hot spring area  had been opened up to the class, Lars seemed to be in an extraordinarily good mood.  Or, at least he wasn’t sneering at everyone now.  He was currently lounged on a rock, sleeves rolled up past his elbows, with a book in front of him and a styrofoam coffee cup nearby.  His eyes weren’t narrowed.  His brows weren’t furrowed.  He looked…content.

Hmm... For someone who had been in the situation he was in, Kenta appeared to be in a really good mood. He wasn't, but if he didn't smile why would he expect anyone else to?

Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed the taller blonde from the trial. From what he had seen of the other so far, he didn't seem to like people very much. But, Kenta had to admit, he was pretty cute. Deciding to see if he could take the opportunity, he approached the other,  a smile on his face. 

"....Hi!" 

After resting with Nikki, Rosa finally cheered herself up a bit. She sighed a little, going to get fresh air, and looked around. She bit her lip.

Ah. There was someone she bit before. She… never apologized.

Sighing she went off to find Kenta, knocking on his door, standing there with a sad expression.

Waking up after hearing a knock, the blonde felt around for his glasses before going to see who it was. 

"Oh, hey Rosa-chan." 

"B-bu’… we need ‘o s’op ‘em now… we need ‘o ge’ ou’ now… someone is goin’ ‘o kill… we’re…"

"Bu’… wha’ abou’ ‘he person who jus’… jus’ died… ‘ey deserve jus’ice… how can we le’ ‘em ge’ away wi’ ‘his…"

Rosa's crying led tears to begin forming in the actor's eyes. He was scared, and someone just died.. 

Oh no, he was crying. 

"I canna’ jus’ s’and here and le’ ‘his happen! We have ‘o do some’hing! I refuse ‘o jus’ suffer and s’and back when people could be dying!!!"

And then she bit Kenta’s arm.

"Yeah, I agree, I don't want anyone to die either, but there are other ways to accomplish this than getting yourself killed. What if you get yourself killed and you accomplish nothin- OKAY OW. What the fuck?!"

Kenta looked slightly offended as Rosa bit him. Still, he did not budge. Rather, he loosened his grip a bit, turning it into what could almost be considered a hug. 

Rosa was shouting at Di when the motive came out. She froze and her eyes widened.

"Firs’… dea’h…"

Someone died. That’s why Di disappeared. They killed them. She clenched her fists and it took a moment but she grew angry.

"YOU MURDEROUS ASSHOLE!"

She screamed at Di, and it was clear of her intentions. She was going to attack Di.

"Rosa-chan, wait!" 

Acting on pure impulse, Kenta ran over to the other as soon as he heard the scream. He tried to restrain her by wrapping his arms around her.

Wow you must be some sort of idiot. Of course someone is going to kill, because if they don’t then we all die of hunger you moron.

Kenta blinked, processing what the girl just said. 

"But... I never said no one was going to kill. I said I sure wasn't gonna kill. I never assumed that nobody else was in fact not going to kill...? I never said that...?" 

…

Someone died…?  That’s sure what the [still admittedly semi-attractive] mastermind was saying. Kenta blinked, really confused. At least everyone here was still alive….!

 Right? 

A motive to kill, Kenta also heard. No food. No one would be allowed to eat until someone killed? 

Are you even allowed to do that to people?!

"……" 

Shortly after Di had disappeared and you heard all the ruckus from the other class, Di returned and handed out updated maps, the mastermind’s voice ringing high above each of you again as he stared down at you from his base on the tree.

"After that little display, I hope you all realized this is all VERY REAL. I don’t care who you are, what you’ve done, anything. If you get in my way or cause trouble, we will cut you down.

Display? You hadn’t seen any display…Well…you only had to assume someone had…died…over there…

Now, in celebration of the first death, I’ve decided it’s time to release our first motive.

Since it’s your first time, we’ll be gentle. The Kitchen and Dining Area is now off limits. And any food you might have had in your cottages has been confiscated as well as the smore making shit by the hangout area.

I will say, the outside porch with chairs and tables are still there, with dandy silverware and knifes for your use. And the tongs for smores are still there to. Quite sharp.

Also, the area marked with an X on the map IS OFF LIMITS. ANYONE LINGERING THERE WILL MEET THE SAME FATE AS MARCUS.

Kenta was extremely confused. First, the arrival of Ichiro, hey wasn’t that guy dead? Everyone thought he was dead. The fuck. Is he a zombie? Anyways.  Then Nikki, the person he met before the trip, got their wrists broken. 

Green eyes widened, as he processed what was happening. Inhaling, he spoke. If he wasn’t an actor, his words would have been way shakier than they were. 

Kenta blinked, having not been fully awake when the guy… Di, was it… yeah, Di, introduced themself. 

Hey, he was kind of cute. Kenta had to admit that.  He looked around. A lot of cute gu-people. He meant people. Hell, this trip won’t be bad at all.
