the three Somethings that can be seen floating out of bounds on the portion of the 2017 trailer where the party is on the shakey train and approach dorothy are named Sally, Lily, and Cindy (don’t know which is which).

these two website gallery pictures appear to most likely be the blurbs that are meant to go in the ingame photobook, as seen in the newest trailer. the first seems to be generally happy, while the second probably has to do more with the Somethings. if they both take place in headspace, then the second may represent the building stress and negative feelings becoming present as a result of omori regaining his memories. they’re all scribbled out. i don’t think either are supposed to be actually legible, and i can’t read them either way.

now this is a very interesting picture. it has a lot of blurry text that seems rather important...

left is the unaltered image from the website’s gallery, right is both drawn on to code batches of text and ai enhanced to upscale it a little bit.

it’s still a bit hard to read, but i (with the help of a few others from the omori discord server) have managed to decode all of it.

overall, these appear to be “ghost hunting” related scenes. the mentions of photographs, especially one being taken in the “instrument room” suggest that its done together with basil. as for “mari’s dead body”... i’m kind of shocked they’d put something like that in the gallery. maybe they didn’t think any of it would be legible? but clearly, every bit has been deciphered now. it is possible that i am reading some of it wrong, but i find it very unlikely. i recognize that the S at the end of “mari’s” sure doesn’t look like one... but, there really isn’t a single other thing i could read this word as that would make sense. otherwise, it looks like “MARÚ”, “MARI’I”, or “MARI’J”. “mari’s” is the only thing it COULD be. the scene in particular seems to suggest that when the player enters the area, her dead body is shown at the bottom of the stairs. but, when you reach the bottom, there is no body, only a photograph. i’m not sure who would have taken this paranormally appearing photograph, but it’s also possible that it could be a family photograph or something of the sort, rather than something basil could have taken. (if basil and omori are together, it’d make little sense that basil left that there.)
