OH MY LORD… so I just had my music lesson, and every week my teacher gives me a playlist with like “unknown” songs/artists (basically underrated MASTERPIECES), and he was saying something and I was zoning out (lmao, like usual), and then I heard him say something about Ailee and then I actually started listening (lolololol) and then when I was finally paying full attention, he was like “ You know… AOA?” …I’m not really *into* AOA, but my sister kinda listens to them, and I never listened to their song “Excuse Me”, so I finally listened to it (literally right before I went to my lesson) and it was like REALLY good… So then, my music teacher was like “Yeah, have you listened to Excuse Me??” and I’m literally like “YEEEEEEEE I *JUST* LISTENED TO IT” and he was like “Yeah… actually *my friend wrote the song;* he knows AOA… his name is Dan (~or something like that lmao~)” I’m sitting here thinking like “DAMN, I GOT ALL DEM CONNECTIONS”

Y’ALL KNOW WHO AILEE IS? WELL... my music teacher is actually really good friends with Ailee, and when I first found out about this (probably many, many months ago), he told me that for about 5 years, she’s been trying to come out with an American debut... well, she finally did, but under a new name: A. Leean. I told my music teacher when “A. Leean” first debuted, and he was like “OH SHOOT... HOW DID I FORGET ABOUT THAT LOL” and then a little later, I asked if he knew why she used a different name in America, and then he said that Ailee is huge in Korea, and companies here don’t want to take her in, and I was like “but WHY tho” and he explained that since Ailee is an extremely popular Asian artist, companies don’t want to hire her because she’s Asian, and there are almost literally no Asian mainstream artists/celebrities in America... if anyone is actually reading this, can you please help and support A. Leean with her music career?? It would be greatly appreciated... and to Ailee-- FIGHTING!! 

I REMEMBER WHEN I was in my chorus class last year, and my friends and I were talking about Kpop, and then the TEACHER was like “OH MY GOD YOU LISTEN TO KPOP??” AND THEN we were all like “OMG YOU LISTEN TO KPOP?!?!?” And he was like “YEEEEESSSSS” and we were like “ YEEEESSSS WHO DO YOU LISTEN TO?!?” and he said that he freaking LOVES Wonder Girls (RIP Wonder Girls) and he listens to Got7 and basically anything JYP
