Quinn Fabray's cut scenes.
Season 1
- 1x01 ‘Pilot’ : A Quinn/Rachel/Santana scene is filmed in the bathroom but will never appear in the episode. Fortunately the scene will be release some time later in the long version of the episode. As you can notice, Quinn calls Rachel by her name and not with an insult as she’s used to in the next episodes. VIDEO
- 1x03 : In the promo, while the cheerleaders wash the cars, we see a water battle between Quinn and Santana, with Finn and Rachel looking at them. The moment isn’t in the episode.
- 1x14: In a long promo for Glee’s back nine return, a Quick scene is cut. Puck and Quinn officially announce that they’re in a relationship but he doesn’t really seem serious. I can’t find the video, but here’s a gif.
- 1x15 : In one of the BTS promo, we can see Quinn and Rachel hugging each other (second gif). We could guess that it was cut because at this time, Quinn and Rachel weren’t really friends…
Season 2 :
- 2x01/2x02 : In the promo videos we can see a few scenes between Quinn and Puck, same go for the still episode. Unfortunately, those scenes will never be featured in the episodes. VIDEO (0:10min)
- 2x16 still in the promo, we can watch a ‘weird’ Quinn and Rachel scene. Indeed, Quinn is in Rachel’s room with her head on Rachel’s shoulder. VIDEO (Very beginning) (First gif on the image posted above)
A few months later, a fan got the script of this episode and was able to release this scene, plus another Faberry scene from this episode. Brad confirmed on twitter that it was the real script.

- 2x21 : In the promo (again) we can see Quinn saying to Finn that they have to quit Glee club. VIDEO (0:20)
- 2x22 : Quinn was supposed to have big plans. And yet, those never happen. In fact some were cut from the episode because of some illogic things. (Kurt says tha ‘Loser Like Me’ was written by the Fabray/Berry collaboration, making Quinn and Rachel arguing about their mix name when in fact the Glee Club wrote this song) In this scene Quinn wants to get the girls (+ Kurt) drunk to get them not able to perform. Season 3:
- 3x01 : A few weeks before the episode airs, the medias watched it and live tweeted it. Michael Ausiello, Kristin Dos Santos to name a few. And they all said the same thing. In the episode, there’s flashback of Quinn summer explaining why and how she became a punk. Unfortunately the scene will never be in the aired episode.
- 3x09 : The Klainers bought the script of the episode to have what they call the ‘box scene’. While reading the script, they’ve found that a few lines from Quinn and Sam scene were cut. It was a funny line from Quinn.
- 3x14 : The bridesmaids scene is cut from the episode. Lea Michele tweeted about filming with all the girls all day night and even tweeted a picture of them. Then, in the promo, the only image we have is Quinn saying to Rachel : “I’m not gonna stand by and watch you ruin your life by marrying Finn Hudson”. E!Online promises to release the scene but never does it. Finally, after 6 months, Ryan Murphy himself released the scene via his twitter account. VIDEO
Finally this year in July at the Comic Con, Lea and Brad revealed that every time he writes a Faberry scene, it gets cut. Lea jokes about it saying that when she and Dianna were filming, they were like “It’s gonna get cut”.
At the end, 12 real scenes were cut. Half of them being Faberry scenes. The thing that bother people is that : Those scene are, from most of them, shown in the promos so we know they exist. We expect them, and at the last moment, we don’t get them. It would be easier and less upsetting if we didn’t know. Because what we don’t know won’t hurt us, right? I’m sure there are a lot more cut scenes. But this doesn’t upset us because we don’t know them, contrary to those 12 scenes…
