Unthinkable Death.Â
Honestly, I have thought about what it would be like if I died. I wondered who would attend my funeral to who would even care or notice. I have wondered what my legacy will end up being and how long it would take before I’m completely forgotten. Each time, I’m left without answers for no one can predict the future and we always end up underestimating our worth to people.
What I do have a tough time thinking about is what it would be like if a friend or family member died. Have you ever thought about what you would do if right at this moment you found out that someone you loved was no longer here in this world? What were the last words you said to them? Could you even imagine that no new memories would made between the two of you and all the past memories would even be more significant now?
Can you imagine how heartbroken you would be? But here’s a question: Do you think they would of known how much they meant to you before they died? Chances are they wouldn’t because we rarely tell the people we care about how much we love them and how much they have affected our lives. Truthfully, we’re too busy living life and making new memories with love ones that we either forget or miss the opportunity to express our true feelings towards someone. In the end, we just hope the people we do love somehow knows that in their heart; just as much they probably hope you know that too.Â
