It was a crazy party. He'd lost everyone he had come with, but was in the best place ever. He was handed a small shot glass with what he'd been told was a shot called 'truth serum'. Smirking, he downed it. It stung, and was bitter, but with a single cough he had it swallowed. It didn't take long for it to take effect. His head felt woozy, his body felt warm, and a smirk crossed his face. He snorted a laugh out as he looked around. "What's the first question?" "What's your count, love?" He turned to look at the person who spoke, seeing Caspian. He looked the man up and down, and licked his lips. "I haven't kept count since I passed 50, but I'd be more than glad to start counting again with your help."

A long day, hard at work, had turned into a long night of drinking at the tavern. Oliver sat there with Cherish, Kren having left to talk to her strange friend, and Thaddeus going off to preach more about his Beloved Sil. The night wore on, and both Cherish and Oliver were several ales in. It was then they had slowly been talking about their families, their pasts, and everything was starting to spill out. "I tried to move on, I really did! but I couldn’t. I can’t." Oliver nodded at Cherish, tears starting to come to his eyes. "I... I get it, Cherish. I feel the same too. I was shot off my ship - my home - in a cannon! If I could move on from that, I would. My best friend watched as they did it too... It... It sucks! Everything just SUCKS!" He said as he began to sob. Maybe there was such a thing as too much ale...

Oliver was sitting in his room at the inn. It had been a long day of skulking around, gaining information, and just causing chaos. To settle down before bed, and to maybe keep to himself and not disturb his new friends, he decided to play with a lock. He had picked up the lock in their travels, making sure to select one that would give him a challenge. He had chosen wisely. It was his first time messing with it, so he tried to open it like he normally would. Furrowing his brow, he pulled out more of his lockpicking tools and got more seriously to work. It took a bit of time, but it finally happened - the lock popped. Smiling triumphantly to himself, he held the opened lock in the air. ❝ 27th time’s the charm, right? ❞ Oliver jerked. "H-hello?" He slowly looked around, swallowing deeply. The voice had been one he'd never heard before. Was he going crazy? How did the voice know that he had tried 27 times before opening the lock? "A-are you... in my head?" He was close to having a panic attack of some sort. Taking a few shallow breaths, he ran to his door. There was no way he was going to be alone in that room. It was 100% haunted.

Oliver nodded, taking a sip of his ale. It had been a long night, and they had been through so much. The wee hours of the morning had slowly crept up on them, Cherish and Thaddeus heading off to bed already, as he sat with Kren. "I get it. I really do." And he did get it. "As much as I can put a smile on, charm some information out of enemies, and sneak around, I just want to make my Mom and Dad proud. They might not be around anymore, but... we can always be better, do things right." He sent her a small smile, a genuine smile. The fourth mug of ale made him a little loopier and honest, but it also helped that it was a friend he was talking to. "You can do it, Kren. I believe in you and will help you however you need."

DONGGGG! The sound of a head hitting a pole was unmistakable. Oliver had been walking around campus, killing time. There was nothing to do between classes, and he wanted some fresh air. To see someone bang into a pole was certainly a highlight of his day. A Professor though? That was eve funnier. His laughter was instantaneous. There was no hiding how hilarious he thought this situation was. "I shall tell no lie, Professor. I am definitely laughing at this. Sorry, man." Slowly, his laughing dissappaited. "I.. ha.. I hope you're um... alright, Prof."

Oliver sat on the patio of a small cafe in town. He didn't want to go to class today, so skipping was the next best thing. He had ordered a pot of coffee and some pastries, planning on relaxing the day away. Slowly drinking his coffee, he closed his eyes and let the sun beat down on him. A shadow fell over him as someone blocked out his magnificent sun. The lack of sunlight cooled him, making him open his eyes and pull down his sunglasses. "  umm, is this seat taken ?  " A smirk came across his face as he saw his friend. "Ahh Kren! You are always welcome to come have a seat with me. Please!" He pulled the chair beside him away from the table and motioned to the pot of coffee on the table. "Drink?"

He tried. Oliver really tried, but the laughter spilled out of him before he could stop it. "Y-you really... Wow..." His laughter had him clutching his stomach. "I can't lie, I heard every damn word." His eyes started watering. "It was adorable, if that's any consolation." His laughter slowly trickled into small giggles.

Oliver scoffed at Etienne. "Of course I'm going to play the hero. The hero is the one who gets the girl in the end." He shrugged and selected Mario. Who else was he going to pick, Princess Daisy? Never.
