He brought his hand up to his chest as if she had hurt him and made a face like he was wincing. âBreaking my heart, Ollie.â but with those words he couldnât help but chuckle. She did have a point though at least when they were young adults the music was far better and he wasnât sure if this was just a sign of him getting old and not liking this newer generation of music or if the dj genuinely was just bad. âI think the point is to drink until the music sounds somewhat good.â he pointed out with a laugh as he took a sip from his beer, to him it wasnât horrible he wasnât really picky when it came to beer or most alcohol. âI guess you can say Iâm becoming a regular. Iâve been to a few different places in town but this is typically the busiest which sometimes is nice.â
She rolled her eyes playfully, as she pushed herself off the bar, turning her back towards it. âAh, youâre right. that must mean, we need shots. Yeah?â She asked, flagging down the bartender. âFour shots of tequila, please.â She asked, politely before taking a sip of her beer. âIt does seem to be extremely busy. I mean, not nearly as busy as Chicago, but pretty up there.â She nodded, as the shots came up to them. âReady?â She grabbed one of the small glasses.
