Swap!Spam and Tenna!! And their colors!

The idea was Spam becomes the Lord of Screens after Tenna learns about his fate from dealings with his mysterious benefactor in their Big Shot Era and flees from TV World to escape it. Spamton reworked TV World into AD World, but it’s still a TV World at its core, so instead of being majorly business or cyber themed, it’s a highly consumerist Hollywood-type Dark World where Spamton is a big shot celebrity.

Concepts + the process for Spamton:

Once I decided on the ponytail idea, I wanted to go all out with its expressibility. The tips of his hair also change color with the ponytail/emotion since he’s made of light!

Concepts for how they could interact. Attempted reconciliation scene is not how I actually envisioned it. I just used it to show how his ponytail portrays his real emotions or glitches out in moments of extreme distress.

Well, I like this version of Spamton, he's more cheeky, and although I like that Tenna begs him, this time I decided it would be the opposite, and Spamton, like a greedy child, wouldn't want to leave Tenna for fear of feeling alone again.

Everyone…!!! This amazing comic is a scene from one of the chapters of a fanfic I have been working on over the last year. It’s my own retelling of Spamton’s downward spiral during his big shot era, emphasizing all of the elements of horror having to do with his contract with the voice on the phone and the consequential abuse and manipulation that unfolds as he becomes controlled and possessed by his benefactor.

I’ve been very, very shy about the idea of actually publishing it anywhere for people to read, so, only a handful of friends have gotten to read the drafts so far. But the overwhelmingly positive responses I’ve gotten have been making me feel more brave about it, so…!
