Attention all Links
No longer will your self sacrificial ways be tolerated. No more running off on your own. No more hiding injuries.
If you must do something to save people you will be using the buddy system.
If you hide injuries you will be sentenced to sleep jail nightly for two weeks.
If you run off on your own I will be sending cucoos after your items.
And, as always, there is the 600 ruppee 'stupid, needless, reckless heroics' fund all Links must pay into. OR if you are Evil there is the 'Needlessly Reckless' fund.
I shall be Tagging all the Links I know of now. If I miss someone feel free to add them.

Ah- you must be Wind.
I'm serious actually. Look me in the eyes and tell me that the other Links aren't more likely to stay alive if they have a buddy.
*aggressive side eye* heh, yeah maybe the younger ones. I've been alive long enough, I'll be fine.
No, unfortunately this is for all Links. If I make an exception for one then they will all want an exception.
For Nayru's sake-
*Huff* fine, then. I'll use your little buddy system.

@the-evil-librarian
peepaw sailor :p
What did you CALL me?!
I called you Peepaw Sailor, you look as old as Nico and look like a sailor :p
I didn’t mean any disrespect, grandpa.
thats not-
GRANDPA? I have grandkids, but I am not grandpa to YOU.
i'm not that old...
Every elder in Aboda is called grandpa, or grandma. It’s a term of endearment!
Who are your grandkids?
haha, alright then.
oh, I've got three girls. Pretty young.
do you have grandparents?
Nope! I’m an orphan. The whole village is my family.
huh. Outset is... different, in that sense.
They do say it tale a village to raise a child.
Yep!
I’m Link, the Royal Engineer in training
huh. Good on you kid, that's impressive.
Well, I don't doubt you'll do fine.
Well not officially. My final test is tomorrow and Alfonso is worried I won’t pass because I’m quite on quote “sleeping through lessons and just cruising on the tracks.” Hey I follow the horn signs! That’s the important ones.
oh, you'll do well enough. As long as you don't hit someone, right?
Hey that was a freak accident and they weren't supposed to be on the tracks!
that was me. I'm okay though :3
engineer.
What did you do?
It was YOU?!
Dear Hylia, give me strength...
I didn't put the parking brake on and hopped out to shoo a rabbit off the tracks. The train only bumped into me. No bruise.
Hylia?
That... could've ended worse, I suppose. Seriously. Don't be an idiot.
Uh... nevermind. Long story.
What other stupid things have you done with that train?
Not a lot? Well one time I had to tear apart the engine and rebuild it because I found a screw, turns out that was from something completely different. Then there was that time I slipped in engine grease..
You can't tell me you didn't do anything stupid when you were a kid.
thats... fair.
I fell off my ship more than a few times. Almost drowned in general more than a few times. Almost froze to death because of this stupid island more than a few times-
Yknow, I think you got the gist. I was a bit of... a character.
Well, I can't swim.. and I always fall asleep to Nico telling stories about the Spirits of good and the Hero of Wind.
I knew you were a sailor! How did you avoid the pirates? Everyone says the seas are full of them. One told me that they kidnap people.. and those people are never seen again.
well... honestly I never avoided them, not entirely. I was part or Tetra's crew which could be classified as pirates, i suppose... we didn't kidnap people, though.
I snuck onto a ship once by eavesdropping on a pirates conversation and figuring out their password. I had to climb vines and hide under barrels just not to be seen!
but, yeah, there's plenty of pirates on there to lie, murder, steal, kidnap, and commit arson. That wasn't really our thing. Except lying and stealing (and arson depending on the situation). That was so our thing.
and then there was linebeck, but thats a whole 'nother can of worms.
That’s SO COOL. You’re a really cool grandpa.
I’ve heard of Linebeck, he’s really shady and runs a trading post to the east. He doesn’t like paying on time. Or paying at all.
heh. Thanks kid.
Oh, he was definitely... shady, for one. Quite the scam artist. But not a bad man, for what its worth.
So you mentioned Nico a couple times. Tell me about him.
He helped raise me! Taught me everything that Alfonso couldn’t and he likes telling stories. His favorite is the Spirits of Good versus the Demon King and how he’s kept sealed in New Hyrule, he has a lot of pictures of that. But I swear he’s over a hundred. He likes looking out over the sea and he has a lot of pictures of pirates in our house.
seems like a great guy. He's helped you out, eh?Reminds me of my own grandma, back in the day.
Its good for a kid to be raised around a person like that. Clearly taught you well.
Thanks!
I’m going to pay him back though. He can’t travel like how he used to, but he won’t tell me what ‘used to’ is, so when I get my certificate from the Princess, I’m going to fill his stamp book for him.
you're welcome, kid. That's awful nice of ya. If I had to bet, he used to travel a bunch. Some old friends of mine take that route with their kids, grandkids, whatever.
I think he used to sail? I’ve seen some pictures of a younger him on a ship? I don’t really know what he used to do. He has a shield that he doesn’t let me touch.
I don’t blame him, I’m covered in grease a lot
I think you two would get along.
huh. Nice. I mean, I've got plenty of old things I've collected over the years that I don't anyone touch. Heh, I'd bet we would.
Yknow, you remind me a lot of myself when I was younger.
Is that a bad thing or a good thing? Considering you did some pretty crazy things when you were about my age.
Thats a question for you to answer, kid. Honestly, I couldn't tell you.
Though Tetra would definitely say it's a bad thing...
I’m going to go with good thing until decided otherwise.
Who is Tetra?
Ah, Tetra is really my eras' Zelda. She leads a crew of pirates. Tetra's really the king's daughter, but she didn't know til she was older. She majorly helped me out on my quest-- I'd absolutely be dead without her, honestly.
She's one of the only people I talk to often.
Era? You HAVE to tell me everything! I promise to not fall asleep. I love stories.
heh, alright.
Well yknow you come from a time after me, right? Well at one point those times got jumbled. Every era with a 'big bad' situation, generally Ganondorf, has a hero. Well, nine of us heroes got thrown through portals and timeliness to fight this shadow.
Its fitting to start with Sky: the first hero. Hero or skyloft, founder of Hyrule. The calmest and most level headed of us all, I think. And definitely the strongest sword fighter. He weirds the master sword.
then came his successor, Four. Hero of the minish, amd of men. He was split by a four sword into four main parts of his personality. Green, the calm leader. Blue, the anger and fighting instinct. Violet, or Vio, the intellect. And Red, the emotions such as sadness and fear. But theyre all passion amd stand for what they care about.
Then came the hero of time. The eldest (though not without time skipping) and group-appointed leader. He is one of our strongest fighters, the strongest of measured by brute force. But in his journey, he split the heroes into three timelines.
First, the adult timeline. Here, he succeeded.
Our rancher, Twilight, came first here. He's practically a brick of muscle. Somehow, he's a perfectly sane weilder of dark magic. He turns into a wolf, a great beast, though we just call him Wolfie. He was mentored by Time's ghost, but he never talks about that much.
Then there's Wild, the champion. He has... a complicated past. He died 100 years before his quest to calamity ganon. But he survived through the shrine of resurrection. He retrieved some of his memories, but still has issues with that. He's a pyromaniac with unlimited bombs, and honestly he does well with them.
Then theres the captain, Warriors. He lead an army of people from different eras in the war of Eras (which me and Time were in, by the way) He's a great leader and a strong fighter. He's intelligent and strategic as well.
Then there's the downfall timeline. Where the hero of time failed.
First up, our veteran legend. He went on six adventures, hence the fact he's a but of a horder. His life was something, from the little he's mentioned. He seems high strung at first glance, but trust me, he's a softie.
Then there's Hyrule. The downfall part comes into play in his era. They have limited food and water sources, and everything and everyone, even animals, are corrupted and want to kill you. Hes out healer, and somehow remains mostly sane despite the amount of injuries he deals with.
Then theres the... other timeline. The forgotten one. We're both here.
You know me, and I came first. I was 14 when this happened, if you'd believe it.
Then there's you. You're definitely after me, I'm sure. It appears we have more advanced technology now.
There's other heroes, of course. But they see somewhere on the timeline we don't know, or even a different one.
Did that make sense?
I'm no hero though, I'm just an engineer. *he didn't fall asleep!*
It makes sense but, I just don't understand what it means. Am I supposed to be a hero? Am I supposed to fight this Ganondorf guy? What do you mean by I'm after you.
I am very confused.
oh, there's gonna be plenty you don't understand. You're after me on the timeline, though- thats for sure. Not everyone fight Ganondorf either. Plenty of other evils exist.
Heh, you'll figure it out one day.
I hope I don't.. I just want to be a conductor and travel the realms.
heh, well, enjoy that life for as long as possible. When you're as old as I am, you'll miss it.
Huh? Nah, I'm 72, can't be doin' this again.
I don't care, I'm retired!

Huh? Nah, I'm 72, can't be doin' this again.
I don't care, I'm retired!

peepaw sailor :p
Huh? Nah, I'm 72, can't be doin' this again.
I don't care, I'm retired!
