how to read/watch mdzs

first of all this website is going to be your portal to almost everything. to read their comic scanlations you need an account which you can make here. (for some reason they don’t link to that page anywhere on their website lmao) but i personally didn’t want to download scans one chapter at a time, so i just read the scanlations on mangago.

that website also links to places where you can watch the animation, listen to the radio drama, etc. i would also recommend: start with the comic or animation before you start the novel. the novel is the most complete version and will give you the fullest picture of what’s going on and make things make sense, but without some visual it’s going to be mad hard because most of the names are very very similar. they link to gogoanime for the animation. i used the rapidvideo mirror because it seems to be the fastest. if you at least do that, you’ll be fine. it’s not actually that complicated in the end! good luck! i’m a picky person and initially the novel didn’t draw me in but like i said, the other night i literally couldn’t put it down. and i’m not even halfway through yet. it’s very long, very good, and well worth it in my opinion <33

Merry Christmas to @newinshayneity who asked for a fourth wall au with Shiro and Keith as actors for Voltron for their @sheithsecretsanta gift!

Let’s skip the flowery intros and get to the point, because this is important.

Lotor’s vindication and reunion with Allura were originally part of VLD s8 and I can prove it. Most animation relating to this plot was excised, while other clips were re-purposed to make it look like he was dead all along: but some are still in there.

The removal of this plot line was one of the major factors in completely messing up season 8, and it was a change that was made very recently; no earlier than August in fact. There is a significant, non-zero chance that an unedited version of Season 8 exists in its entirety; completely finished.

Trigger Warnings: Gore - that image and discussion of it, body horror, sexism, and major character death.

In the beginning of S8E1, Shiro explains to the crew that it’s their last night on Earth at the Garrison, and that they should spend it with those they love.

Later in the episode, we find Keith sitting on the black lion–their lion–watching the sunset.

He’s not with Krolia, whom he loves. So who was he waiting for here? Well, the only other person Keith has ever told he loves is Shiro.

The sunset is extremely reminiscent of the sunsets he and Shiro used to watch together when they were at the Garrison, before Kerberos. It looks extremely identical and may even be the same place, or close to it.

Lance even tells Keith he was hard to find–for Lance. But Shiro would’ve known exactly where to find him…yet he never shows up.

What happened between them, why were Shiro and Keith so distant this season, so much so that their entire past was seemingly completely erased?
