Unforgotten Characters

Whoa what’s this

At least one out of the four looked mildly amused at their behaviour, but the rest were either perplexed or annoyed that they haven’t been able to look at the menu yet. When Blake “"introduced himself,” they shared the same look of dawning realization and both scurried to get into their proper places, so to speak. On occasion, theatrics could be added, such as gasping and/or tripping over each other. James straightened up and nodded. “James, at your service,” he amended, bowing his entire upper half to the group. “Do take a chance to take a look at our dessert section and know, that no, I am not on the menu.” He grinned wider. 

As the other bowed, Blake “lost his balance”, only to recover at the last second and stand up completely straight again, hands behind his back. “Though we wish he was.” He picked up just after his counterpart. “Though, I do highly recommend the chocolate lava sundae. It’s absolutely divine.” What they continued with depended on which version they were using this time. Usually they never picked, they just let it roll and knew what to say when the other said something else. “We also suggest you order dessert before your main course, it’s scientifically proven to taste better that way.”

James was the best actor he knew. These little scenarios were child’s play. His smile was warm and welcome, he pulled out chairs, set down menus, all the things he was supposed to do. Even Noah had sense what was about to happen, and he could see the manager across the restaurant looking on expectantly. A majoirty of the diners had turned to watch the spectacle as well. It was really no surprise that this particular diner was on a tourist guide. They had the best show around…to everybody BUT the tourists. “You should love it here. Everyone’s disturbingly nice around this area,” he said, flashing a grin as he moved to lean an elbow on Blake’s shoulder. “Anywho, I’m this evening’s waiter, Blake.”

Blake glanced around as he walked, catching the eyes of a few members of their audience. Summer was the best time of year to come around to the diner, tourists were always buzzing around. “Especially us. We try our very best.” He hardly glanced over as James leaned on him, something he would usually rebel against by jabbing at his side or just stepping away and watch him have to rebalance his weight, but this was a show, he couldn’t jeopardize it. “And I, James, will be joining him.” But as a strike of realization went across his face, he scurried around to the other side of James, pushed him over by about a foot, then leaned on his shoulder much like James had been on him. “Now that that matter is resolved, my name is Blake, and I will be your waiter this evening.”

The best friends were the ones who always knew exactly what you were thinking. At this point it was almost routine to harass the fresh new faces. And confuse the hell out of them. Usually they were good-natured about it, but they’d gotten a few complaints that the diner was hiring “hooligans” to serve their food. Unfortunately those complaints just got lost in the mass of the many other people saying how awesome they were. James brushed his hair back with his fingers, sliding over on the side of the group, opposite of Blake. “Right this way, ladies and gents. We’ve got the best spot in the house just for you.”

The looks on their faces were pure confusion. After all, it wasn’t like it was a nice restaurant, it wasn’t like they were dressed in suits, why all the fancy words? And this was just the beginning. “Are you new in town?” Blake figured he’d start the charade, and immediately one of the women started saying they were on vacation, and they heard about the diner. It was in most of the tourist guides for their area, Blake wasn’t surprised. He motioned to James and started walking towards one of the empty tables, figuring they could both take this group. After all, hardly anyone was there, and the regulars tended to enjoy watching this anyway.

It wasn’t a very fast-moving day. There were a few regulars to smile to, a few jokes to be had at the other workers, but all in all so far it was uneventful. This wouldn’t be a problem, if he didn’t have the weekend off. He needed his dosage of weird, and so far he wasn’t getting it. When the little bell from the door jingled, however, he looked up from wiping the table and smirked at the sight of them. Tourists would be their entertainment for the day, and he glanced over at James. They had the same looks on their faces. He tucked the rag into his back pocket and fixed his jacket, moving towards the front of the restaurant and meeting the eyes of one of the tourists. “Welcome to this magnificent diner, table for four?” This would be fun.

Birthday Sex (All involved)

Kat hovered behind Dakota, slightly unsure about all of this. She almost wished that she was drunk or high or something, but she knew she had to be alert because she would have to poof at the first sign of distress from Willow. Still, this could be fun.  Nella snorted, “Liar,” She teased, pecking his cheek, “So..happy birthday.” Moving to the door, she opened it, smirking and ushering the waiting people in.

Blake strolled in just behind Dakota, smirking even more as Blade figured it out. "Oh good, so you figured it out. It would have been weird to actually have to explain." He flopped down on one of the chairs, a lot more casual than he probably could have been. But this was Blade, it wasn't like he was a stranger.

"Keep in mind we aren’t here to make enemies," Kal told her, considering what Lindiwe had told him, "We lost the war in the future..and most likely by alienating everyone." He needed to speak to Elijah.

"We also can't be left with only us to battle the rest of the island. Enemies no, allies yes. That's what we're gaining from this." It would just have to be allies that would be convinced. If people wanted to join their side, they would have by now. That's how she saw it.

"Perfect, use Jasper and Joffrey. Lindiwe and I will search for possible recruits." He wanted to stick close to Lindiwe, especially considering she would be having their child soon. This could work though. The first of the new dragons, Artemis, would be completed soon…The Silva man was next on his list…but they needed more.

"If you find any dragons that haven't been transformed, or just... any dragons that aren't on our side, we should grab them too. Convince them a little bit." Hazel reminded him. And if not, they could use their hearts to transform others.

"It is just Joffrey’s sort of party," Kal chuckled dryly, inclining his head with a laugh, "It seems its already been decided. Do you have a location?"

"There's a building for rent in the middle of town. It seems rather large, with several floors. Say we have two for the actual house and have an exit for us to grab someone and drag them up to one of the other two." Hazel explained. She hadn't been about to come to these dragons unprepared. She may have been the youngest dragon, but that didn't mean that she was the stupidest.

Kal looked thoughtful for a moment, pursing his lips. Jasper was completely mental, “Have you told Lindiwe, yet?” He liked the idea…it had potential, but he didn’t want to do anything without the other dragon knowing as well.

"And your other son." Hazel told him with a nod. "Yes. They both agree." She mostly didn't want to get Kal to agree then have the others disagree and that's why she'd asked him last. "We have to get it open soon."

"Well, there is only one future son, that I recently came into contact with. Tell me, what have you and Jasper been cooking up?"

"A haunted house. To test out who could possibly become a dragon or not. There must be some other dragons looking around her somewhere, too... so we can take advantage of that fact as well." Hazel explained, looking at him with a bored look in her eyes. "The sooner we start the better. We can't be open past Halloween without raising suspicions. And we can't let in more than a couple of people at once, lest the ones that are let out figure it out."

Birthday Sex (All involved)

Blake stepped out of the elevator, bouncing on his heels. He was leaving this week. He had pushed it off once he heard about Blade's "party" so that he wouldn't leave right before, but he knew he had to go soon. Attachments were starting to get stronger and he couldn't have that. But this was not the point tonight. "Aww you beat me to it." He complained at the blonde at Blade's door, walking over with his arms crossed on his chest.

"To which of the silly future silly people are you referring?" 

"One of your sons. I doubt you keep in touch with all of them, Kalurth."

Joffrey frowned and rolled his eyes. “What? No, I meant are we going to batter the honored guests around with wind, fire, water, and earth?” He waved his hand dismissively. “Just kick them out early. Say it’s over. They won’t know the difference.”

"Oh." Hazel said and rolled her eyes at herself. Obviously she was thinking too far into the 'horror' aspect of this place. "A little. It can't be too obvious..." She said thoughtfully, chuckling. "I think you underestimate this island, Joffrey."

Joffrey tapped his fingers against the table. “Interesting. I like it. Would the house be a watered down version of the transformation?” He enjoyed the idea more than he was letting on. It sounded like good fun. 

Hazel paused, blinking at him for a moment. "I'm assuming that's a movie that I just haven't seen. We'll only accept a few people at once... then we can just do whatever when they get in. We just have to figure out how to make sure the ones that we let out think that it's just a normal house. They can't know our plan." But the dragons were sadistic. It was probably going to end up a lot more overboard in the fear and the pain that would ensue.
