Meet Willow, completing our trio of main heroes! When I said "young," you probably weren't expecting this. But dryads grow differently, so everything is perfectly proper here. 😇

Willow is the youngest among the Alseids, dryads from the Hyleoroi forest. Little and naive, she long remained in the shadow of her elder sisters, who never took her seriously. But when the blight began to destroy their home, Willow, defying all prohibitions, ventured into the world of humans to find help and save the dying forest.

That choice cost her. Humans only see a monster made of bark and leaves. But underneath that wooden appearance is just a simple girl: gentle, trusting, and easily hurt. She is shy and can seem far too defenseless… but when someone she cares about is threatened, Willow finds a fierce, unexpected courage.

Dudley is Ryan’s younger half-brother, born as the illegitimate son of Arden Mor. After their father’s death in a fire and the mysterious disappearance of his mother, he was raised under the care of their uncle Alvesth.

Unlike Ryan, Dudley — though for reasons unclear — always seemed to enjoy his uncle’s indulgence. Because of this, he grew up more cheerful and carefree. Dudley knows his life was shaped by mistakes he never made, and from an early age he’s been striving to earn his older brother’s trust. Sometimes in the weirdest ways: once, Dudley grabbed a hammer and knocked out his own tooth just to look "like Ryan". Now he’s left with a perpetually red nose and a missing tooth.

By the way, Dudley even managed to win over the most vicious and wary dog in his uncle’s kennel, naming her Chipolata and carrying her everywhere in his backpack. So perhaps Ryan is only a matter of time, too.

A lumberphile lumberjack who spends a suspicious amount of time among the trees… The main character of Dryadale — Ryan Mor. He can strike you down with the power of a single eyebrow, and his scarf is as long as his personal tragedy.

As a child, Ryan grew up in a troubled family. His father, Arden Mor — a drunkard and a gambler — was unfaithful to his wife. The betrayal led to a quarrel that ended in a fire. Left an orphan at the age of nine, Ryan was raised in the mansion of his stern uncle Alvesth, who gave him neither warmth nor support. To "knock the nonsense out of him" — after Ryan had been caught stealing ale from the cellar and making trouble in the earldom — Alvesth would send him into the forest to split and chop wood.

Gradually, Ryan found solace in the world of fairy tales. Fascinated by them since childhood, he began writing his own stories in the pages of his diary. At the same time, however, he hid more and more behind the mask of a brooding, distant youth. His character is full of contradictions: withdrawn, yet quick-tempered; he pushes people away, yet longs for closeness; outwardly sullen, but inwardly a dreamer who still believes in miracles.

This summer turned out to be a tough one for me, and I took a bit of a break from social media. But now I’m trying to come back and slowly find the strength for creativity again 🌿

I'm terribly sorry for my absence. I promised a ton of content, but ended up disappearing for a month... But I didn't waste my time, because I have the entire script for the comic "Dryadale" ready! So, I'm planning 2 volumes, 9 chapters each.

We have a second subject, for which we also do a project, but done in the traditional. So this time I decided to draw illustrations of one of my favorite rock bands — "Korol i Shut" ("King and Jester").🤘

We are allowed to draw on the walls of our institute (specifically on the 2nd floor). So I decided to leave my mark at the end of my first year🤘

I thought I would have time to post all three comics for the study project in one post, but I overestimated my abilities, so I'll publish them separately. О~о

I was inspired by this format from @/Idolomantises' comics with plushies. I just really liked this way of promoting, 'cause it's much more interesting than the usual posters😅
