I don’t date through OkCupid anymore really. I have before and have met great people. I think I’m pretty good at reading people online these days (maybe not though, who knows).
But I don’t think the government should have anything go do with dating. Unnecessary funding and usually when the government has more control and more, er, power (even if it seems as chill as dating) then it gets gross and bad. It makes me think of some Black Mirror world. There would be so many regulations and qualifications and naaaaah.
