Life of an Okami Computer Animator

It has been some time and I have to say that I fell behind on this blog due to being in a huge withdrawal of my adhd med. I am happy to say that I am back on it now and hoping that I'll have it monthly again. I never knew how bad it was until my grades dropped pretty low as each month went by.

Currently back in IL for the winter break. I will be heading back home to San Francisco on the 20th of January. Supposedly be getting bad winter storm to hit here soon, so not sure about it, but I left SF the day when a huge rain storm was starting to hit there. Just chilling right now, yesterday was just another day, another free time. I don't celebrate xmas much anymore, I'm moving towards Yule but I just need a permanent home so I can officially celebrate it.

So the finals is coming up but in my model and animation class, its already starting. Basically in a Crunch Time in getting things ready to submit our final animation on the 16th of Dec.

Ive been out of the loop and not keeping up with my blogs even tho I had said that i will. It's just hard and extremely difficult due to being off of my med for adhd. I am struggling to get my med so I can focus but nothing is happening this weekend. Sucks, thats for sure.

I'm not too sure when the last time I had posted here but today is Oct 2 and its the second day of Inktober. I'm not sure if I be doing this year's as classwork is slowly starting to pile up.

My classes are Figurative Concepts, History and Techniques of Character Animation and 3D Modelling and Animation 1. I do like all of my classes, its just right amount to handle. Yes there is a lot of free time but I usually use it for studying but currently I have trouble in keeping focus due to being so withdrawn from my medication that I had ran out. Hoping that today I can get back on them as I got a refill being mailed to me couple of days ago. Yes, I have ADHD and its uncontrolled right now but hoping to get it fixed soon.

So its been awhile since I've posted on here. Got sidetracked with school. Yea I finally made it to school here in California! So happy but I'm currently trying to get used to all the sneezing, Im doing cause of high pollen.

But yes! Im in Academy of Art University and my first class was last Wednesday which was interesting. The second class on Friday was fun and I got my final class on Tuesday morning. Its been hectic since I moved in.

I will try update weekly now on here when I can. So stay tune for new updates.

so far i have been quiet busy with doing figure drawings and working on a new reel for my portfolio admissions to this school over in California. I cant wait to start and really hope I get in for this coming fall term.

I'm known as Alex and I'm a 3 year post graduate (B.S.) of Computer Animation. I'm just here to say hi and that I will try document my journey to getting my Masters.

Currently I am in the process of getting stuff ready to send to the Admissions over at Academy of Arts University. I really can't wait to start there, I am hoping to get in before this Fall Term.

So yea, ummm, I will post short videos and animations which includes WIP (Work-In-Progress) too. Along with my thoughts and stuff. I do have an art Blog but that's just for art as in traditional and digital artworks. I decided to make this blog to have something to document my 3D art journey.
