Wow! It's been a few months since I read the first book in this series (Wicked Fox), but it's safe to say that I definitely enjoyed this one more. The characters seemed more lively, the plot was engaging, and the ending was, although somewhat simple, satisfying enough. My criticisms for this novel would probably be: the repetition - at times it felt like the characters were going over the same things again and again - and that there wasn't enough exploration into Sinhye and Hyuk.

Overall, I think this book had potential. The characters were somewhat underwhelming, and I couldn’t get myself quite into the plot, but it wasn’t bad. Just ... painfully average. It would’ve gotten a 2/5, but the ending was more satisfying than I was expecting so. Yeah.

Anyway, I’ve never read anything from Bracken before, and I probably won’t again. At least it’s got a pretty cover for my shelf :]
