Oh yeah, SUDAN!

Last Friday

so my sister is graduating from med school and it’s a tradition in Sudan for graduates to have their own zaffa (parade) around campus and cruising around Nile Street with tablas and whistles and generally going crazy. this was their little circle in the middle of campus and homeboy here is saying “MAF 7AJA ISMAHA 7IRMAN TANI (NO MORE DEBARRING FROM TESTS)” aka the biggest fear of all students in my school. 

oh and yes their t shirts say “Straight Outta Med School” 

bruh like this is why I came to Sudan I love graduations here 

In the past we used to spend AlEid out side Khartoum. To be more specific White Nile state. We used to spend Eid Alfitr with my granny from my father side..and Aladha with granny from mum side..

In the last 5 years I lost all my four grandfathers and grandma’s.. So we just go there from time to time..

So this year we decided to visit my father sisters.. my father was born in a village called Alafya.. then the family moved to Almrabye.. so I am there now.. it located between Alshawal and Asalaya.. at the eastern bank of the White Nile.. I love the place here.. specially in Autumn.. where we barely see the sun from time to time.. the land here is Sandy so rains don’t leave water in ground.. People here are so kind and nice to us.. my uncle AlFadil is so famous here.. when they know that Alfadil is my uncle they be more kinder to us.. The thing that I adore that it taks us 15-20minutes to reach White Nile.. and farms.. manga tree’s.. lemons.. oranges etc..

Tomorrow InshaAllah going to visit Aljabaleen where mum waa born in a village called Almarwa.. its also located in the eastern bank of the White Nile.. Aaaah I jut can’t wait to show you pic for the place its like heaven for me.. I spend half of my childhood there.. since I was the first grandson my days were so bright.. So.. In Almarwa there the family farms which its so so so so so big.. 2 wells.. I even had my own mango tree :D Also it tooks you like 10-15 minutes to reach the White Nile.. I forgot to say on food.. And the moust important thing the animals we git cows.. goats.. hens etc.. Grandma died when I was 11.. lots of thing’s changed since then.. Jeedo couldn’t accept that easily he died 3 yaers ago.. so the place that I lived must of happy life have been destroyed by nature.. no one to live in it so rains did it job..
