A teeny slice of sketch progression as I have been refining my design for pre-Fog Philip; the middle row & down I am happy with, assuming I can keep my proportions/style consistent haha.

Sketchy stuff working on how I want to draw Philip’s facial expressions.

He’s actually a good example of how you can’t always translate 3D model details to a cartoon and have work well; there’re areas on his face where the skin is exposed, namely around his eyes and mouth/nose, but every time I tried to stay true to model and draw the mouth/nose detail, it looked /awful/ and took a lot of time to fiddle with. Better to just omit stuff like that and move on, so you can keep drawing the character and having fun with it!

1. I drew a representation of the peak male form, and was immediately smacked down because there “wasn’t enough thigh gap” and he’s “too visible” so I fixed it.

2. The girl there is Anna, yes it is based on real fanart; my only possible explanation is that pixie-Anna is piloting around the beefcake we know and love like Scrappy does to Mr. Bean in the live action Scooby Doo movie.

3. I love sexy Herman Carter as much as the next person, but the effects on human skin that has been stretched past its limit and over an extended amount of time would..... not be pretty. The filename is SharpeiShockman.jpg
