She is everything you never knew you needed. She doesn’t just fill a hole in your heart, she forges her own path to her own little spot that can’t and won’t ever belong to anyone else. Her eyes ask you, “Where have you been all these years? I’ve been waiting. I’ve missed you.” And you’ll her, “I’m sorry it took so long. It’s been hard to find you with my eyes shut.” You see when you fall, you realize all the time before having her you’ve spent sleep walking, and she’s awakened you. And though the descent may scare you, because it’s hard to know where you’re falling from, you’re sure… because when you fall it feels like finally coming home.
