20/100- Sorry for not posting recently but it’s because I got invited for an interview at Oxford!!!! Honestly over the moon right now and so excited for interview :)

19/100- attempting to study for some tests but definitely struggling with getting/staying focused :( that’s okay though! I’m taking my time (though I am admittedly getting distracted by YouTube vlogs) and ultimately I’d rather get a full study done when I’m healthy and ready instead of half-assing it and doing next to nothing!! On a mission to make myself feel better by wallowing in buckets of tea💛💛

18/100- woooo I finally made it home in time for good lighting! So as some of you (probably very few) may know, I am currently CRAMMING and rereading a bunch a books that I mentioned in my university applications in preparation for interviews. At first I was taking notes by hand but thennnn I spent some time making these (if I do say so myself) beautifuuuuuuul note templates and filling them out as I read!! If anyone would like a copy of these sheets/the general template let me know and I will post them for download!! My playlist of the day is actually one of the Starbucks ones!! 17/100- psychology study for an upcoming test (boo). My technique for dealing with the MOUNTAINS of info we need to know is to type out note sheets with key words, objectives, diagrams, and multiple choice questions collected from the text book and various other resources, then print it out and go through adding in notes/definitions/labels. It might take a little bit more time but it works as a study technique for me!

16/100- reading reading reading and even more reading!

14/100: did more reading prep today! I’m not too keen on reading on my laptop as I tend to get distracted :( My method to stay focused is to make the background a soft neutral colour and set the kindle page to sepia (it’s less harsh on your eyes!) and play some instrumental orchestra music (today’s playlist was “Intense Studying” on Spotify!!) Also forgot how much I LOVE A Room of One’s Own: I got through it in under 2 hours! If you’re involved in literature or academia (especially as a woman) you HAVE to read it. Not only is it full of beautiful imagery and witty af- it gives a really important viewpoint on women in literature and academic society. Ahhh I honestly love Virginia Woolf!!

13/100- sorry for not posting, I was away for a few days and only did reading (not very aesthetic to take pictures of lol) anyway I’m currently reviewing through all of the books/poems I mentioned in my personal statement in the hopes that if I do get invited for interview I’ll actually know what I’m talking about haha (also still working on improving my lighting :/)

12/100- aaaand my holiday has officially started!! I didn’t have any work to do today but I did start my next 30 days on my big wall chart! I really recommend getting one of these bad boys to help get yourself organized- as much as I love my beautiful agenda (one of the Bando 17 months) sometimes I just need something a little more accessible. As soon as I get in from classes I fill in my assignments for the evening plus any other tasks/important dates and then I only have to glance up to see what I’m doing next rather than rooting through my diary. This planner is just a massive one that I picked up in Staples for less than $20, it’s erasable so I just keep a collection of (colour coded) markers nearby and I’m good to go!!

11/100- superrr sick today but luckily have a week off starting tomorrow afternoon and will get all my work done then! In the meantime here are all of the books (and three scripts) I have to reread/review over the next three weeks (yikes!)

10/100- tried my best to be productive today but I have a major case of the cold coming on which has made me feel quite rotten :( I have a week off starting Thursday so I just have to get through tomorrow!!

9/100- bad quality pictures (hour difference has really messed up my lighting) but I banged out a passage analysis in 40 minutes and got a ton of psychology done so I’m not mad about it :)

8/100- completely new desk positioning and I’m loving it! I know it looks cluttered but trust that it’s organized (at least to me!!)

7/100- I tidied my desk and suddenly decided to completely reorganize my room oops (I’ll post pics of that tmmrw bc I’m actually loving the way it looks now!!) also I really didn’t realize how many books I have on the go right now haha sucks to be an English nerd
