Hello again people!

I know this blog has been somewhat quiet over the last few weeks, which is due to my academic workload getting to me a bit. Anyway, here’s the final music video in the ‘3 Films’ series. This is the music video for ‘How’.

You can now read all the details about the stories told by the videos on the 4ad website at this link. These stories, ‘Dress’ (Doing The Right Thing), ‘Window’ (Numbers) and ‘5040′ (How) are beautiful short stories which form the basis for the three music videos. Reading these stories allow you to delve a bit further into the creative process behind Daughter’s second album ‘Not To Disappear’.

One final thing - I realize that I said I would be doing another giveaway on this blog soon. I definitely will, and it’ll likely be some copies of the new album but that won’t be until mid-April at the earliest due to university work. Sorry!

The post that started it all. Elena Tonra officially adopts the name Daughter as her stage name on November 1st, 2010. At this time she was performing solo, and performing as a support act alongside other artists like Lucy Rose. In a week's time, Daughters second album 'Not to Disappear' will be released, on Elena's birthday.
