Penelope arched an eyebrow, "That's probably the saddest thing I've seen in a long time."

"If you're going to be nervous about anything, be worried about the cost. The chances of you not getting non-existent.."

Quentin took a sip of his beer, "You don't seem particularly excited about it."

"It’s an easier one to worry about than the endless list that comes up when I think about it." Her brown hues rolled as her boyfriend put away his camera. "You act as if I don’t have my own to take a picture of you with. I’ll get you soon enough."

"Fair enough."  He set the camera down on the side table before reaching down and very carefully scooping the little boy off his mother's chest and letting him rest against his shoulder. A month ago, you couldn't have paid Shin enough to hold him, with his crippling fear of dropping him. but he'd gradually gotten less afraid. The child's fragileness wasn't quite as terrifying as it used to be. "My line of work involves being behind the camera, not in front of it. But fine."

i need to find a husband and have a baby now

Groaning slightly, the young woman scoffed. “You should have told me that before I agreed to have this little munchkin.” She chuckled as she placed a soft kiss on the stunning child. “Now I just want one with you and him for my computer.”

Shin chuckled lightly, snapping the lense cap back onto the camera, "Of all the fears that came with parenthood, dark circles is your biggest one?" It certainly wasn't his. Being a father came with an entire repotiore of things to worry about in raising a living being that, currently, is no bigger than his forearm, "Sorry. Lens cap is back on."

"Shhh, I’ve watched videos on Youtube, which makes me an expert," he stated as he tried to braid her hair. it’s wasn’t as easy as he thought, "Just say something if it hurts, Penelope," he snickered.   

"Why were you watching Youtube videos on how to do women's hair?" She shifted in the seat again and tried to focus back on her laptop screen, "Not only will I tell you, but I might back my chair up over your feet."

Mark whined again, “But it won’t be the sameee—” he gasped shortly and looked at Cynthia. A smile was already spreading on his face, “Really? You can’t take it back now— you know that right?”

"On one condition!" Cynthia said, "You take Japanese with me next semester."

"Couldn’t you have waited after my dark circles went away?" Aiden chuckled as she rubbed her eyes tiredly. As much as she loved being a mother, she did miss sleep.

"My mom had me 25 years ago and she's' still got dark circles, I couldn't wait that long." Shin said with a small smile and snapped another picture. The baby stirred slightly, but stayed asleep, "It's still a great shot. Desktop wallpaper worthy."

Mark rolled his eyes at her listing her valid reasons (he did listen, he always did). He sighed again, “But we both know I’m not gonna study it— I suck at Korean already— just— just do it for me, yeah? I mean, if anything you’ll learn how to teach Korean. That’s learning something new, right?” He grinned.

"You're so persistent...I could just as easily just help you rather than take the class." Cynthia sighed, a bit, "Okay, I'll enroll."
