One of the most fascinating, amazing, and promising facts about life is that we all have the opportunity to change and grow. Each of us gets a fresh start every second, minute, hour, and day and there is no reason to ever stay the same. There is always more! There is always better! But, you see, people around you and even the onlookers you will never meet, don’t want you to have more or get better. In fact, how dare you! Because when you move on or move forward, it only points out how stuck they are, how behind and below they are, and people hate that. But look around, my love; no one who hates on you is more blessed than you and that is motivation enough! So, change, grow, and don’t allow anyone to bring you back to that place you’ve left. Show them what God can do, how far He can carry a person, and how much prayer and perseverance can change a life. Lose touch with who you were, be proud of who you are, and move ever closer to who you’re going to be. And as for them, know this: no one would ever try to bring you down if you weren’t already way up. Be well. 💋
