April 23, 2017 It's been 3 years, the same thing that happens every year happened today, I woke up at about 5 am, no alarm no nothing, I went back to sleep not really knowing why I woke up . I'm pretty emotional today, freedom writers was just on and I cried intermittently throughout the movie . I miss you man there's no way around that . My biggest hope is that you know/knew how truly loved and missed you are . I don't want you to feel like you were not appreciated for all that you did . Please know if nothing else, this family and this world will not know another person with a kindness that outshined the sun . I dream about you sometimes still, I always see you as you were before you were sick, that's the way I wish to remember you. I love you my dude, keep doing your thing up there .
