Hunter Noah Gilbert

Tyler knew that living with Klaus and Caroline and Stefan meant that he would often be greeted with unexpected visitors and he was prepared for that. It wasn’t too much of a shock to see Hunter walking towards him and he gave a weak smile at the question. “Yeah, I’m not feeling super great either. Not completely sure what the fuck happened last night, honestly. Feel like I got knocked out.”

Hunter frowned a little. “Maybe you should sit down..” he started. “I was actually looking for my dad... but can’t seem to find him... I’m guessing he’s not here...I can maybe try to ring him if you want him here... or do you want me to try and find someone else?” Hunter asked. 

Hunter Gilbert. Viola didn’t know him awfully well outside of him being Jen’s little cousin, but he was supposed to be an ally. Whatever that meant nowadays. “I know first aid,” Viola said. “Let me check you over, okay? It really was an honest accident.”

Hunter shook his head simply running a hand over the back of his head to check for any blood. “No, No I’m fine honestly... I just wasn’t expecting to hit the ground like that...” Hunter stated. “Everything okay with you? Seems as if you got spooked really easy...” Hunter stated.

Caroline’s nose wrinkled in displeasure at the greeting, shaking her head. “Okay isn’t exactly the word I’d use but your delusions are yours to sort through, bud.” The mention of Jeremy made her scoff and she raised an eyebrow. “Fairly certain your father would have to tear himself away from my ex long enough to even notice I was back in order to feel glad about it. Don’t really see that happening any time soon.” She thought for a moment before continuing. “Also still so confused by the appeal. I mean, Tyler’s a cheater and a murderer. Your dad could do way better.”

Hunter turned to watch the blonde as she replied to him. He was about to speak again when he heard her comment about his father and Tyler. Ouch! “That’s kinda Harsh...” Hunter stated under his breath. “I mean if we didn’t have relationships with someone who made dubious choices, that would limit it to outside almost everyone we know...” he stated. 

Matias smiled as he looked at Hunter, his hand stroking his back. “Good morning,” He said to him. “How did you sleep,” The headache slightly coming down as he looked at Hunter.

Hunter bit on his lip as the male stroked his back. “I slept amazing... waking up was great to..” he teased to the male. “Especially seeing that smile..” Hunter admitted to the other and run a thumb over the others cheek. “Are you feeling okay... you were... pretty rough last night..” he chuckled. 

FAST FORWARD

Matias groaned, realizing that something was on laying on him. or someone. He turned over and realized it was Hunter. And he smiled to himself. He had expected after they came back to his place and Matias passed out from drinking too much for Hunter to leave. But he was still here. “Morning,”

Hunter groaned a little as he felt the male beneath him moving and he opened his eye a little. A smile settled on his lips as the male spoke to him. “Hmmm, Good morning..” Hunter stated. He was feeling content to be here with matias - especially after their time apart. 

“I feel like that’s the consensus with most secrets.” Nova replies with a small laugh. Her hybrid hearing gave her the chance to hear others, though Nova didn’t take it. She wasn’t privy on eavesdropping. “Surprised we didn’t see any fresh vamps lose their shit with how much blood was around.” She sort of expected it, but it seemed everyone had their shit together for the most part. “I only have like, two secrets.” Nova laughs, “But the one I confessed wasn’t hard at all. It would have gotten out one way or another with time.” She didn’t care to hide that part of her anymore.

A nod of his head concreted the fact he agreed with the other. “Yeah... and it was crazy... I mean I feel like I needed to help people... but I couldn’t..” he admitted - that was one of the things he struggled with being part whitelighter - hearing so many cries and struggling to separate and ignore the calls for help. “I don’t know if anyone would be stupid enough to try that with all the werewolves and vampires around - they would have a riot on their hands..” he shrugged.  “Still, you shouldn’t be forces to spill it... seems like someone is really out to cause drama since we got here..”

“Really?” he said as he looked to the stranger and then to the cat, who looked back up at him - probably just as confused as Henrik was. “Then, uh, you want to help me name it?” he asked before raising the cat to see its gender. “It’s a him,” he said as he placed the cat down

Hunter watched the male and nodded. “Yeah,” Hunter started before looking back to the cat. As the male asked for name suggestions, Hunter laughed a little as he looked back to the male. “Oh, I am hopeless at names... I once had a hamster and just called it hamster for a year before I settled on a name..” he chuckled. “What if you offer some names and I can say whether I like them too?” he offered. 

“No, no,” hands extended and waved off the apologize. “I should be the one apologizing here, I’m sure I’m the reason for the collision,” she spoke as a chuckle followed thereafter. “I’m fine, yeah.” Anna nodded in reassurance.

Hunter watched her. “I don’t think so really... I wasn’t concentrating... maybe we should just say it was both of us if we aren’t going agree..” he offered. “I’m glad you are okay though...” Hunter smiled. 

“At least there was food. And liquor. Could never go wrong with either or.” Nova replies with a smirk, hues falling onto Hunter. “I’m assuming you confessed rather than sacrifice someone.” Hunter didn’t seem to be the type, “How bad was it?” She’d withhold on asking for the deets of his dirty little secret, Nova didn’t care to know others secrets. They were hidden for a reason. Until tonight, of course.

Hunter chuckled. “I guess not...” he shrugged. He watched and nodded a little. “It wasn’t...that bad of a secret... but not something I wanted to be forced to share...” he admitted. “There was so much bloodshed... it was hard to see...” Hunter stated. “What about you... was yours hard to reveal?” he wondered. 

"I feel a lot about Matias... but I'm going to be telling him that before I tell anyone else..."
