Sometimes uses the name âFriskâ; they used that
name for years before coming up with the name âVOIDâ.
( âViaâ Violet WELLS - in *deltarune* . )
( Appearance . )
- Hollow eyes, that leak black âtearsâ. It stains their pale face ; their cheeks are rosy, similar to *chara*. VOID is always seen in their usual clothing ; a purple sweater thatâs stripped with blue, and a jacket that seen better days ; it belonged to *their* sans, in their own timeline. Sometimes, if it gets too dirty theyâll ditch it in another timeline in sansâs laundry basket to get cleaned ; it takes weeks.
Despite being alive for so long, they never truly age ; their body is âfrozenâ at the time their own timeline was destroyed. Stuck in their youth forever; they wouldnât consider themselves human anymore.
( Personality ; They grew into a bitter person, who only ACTS for themselves. Always sarcastic even if it isnât necessary; they donât have many friends because of that. But they enjoy the silence. Despite trying to keep to themselves? they always find themselves trying to seek *something* to distract themselves from tired from their own life. In serious situations, they usually look the other way. Sometimes their jokes never land , like itâs an inside joke with no one around to understand it. )
(( Background ; Falling all the way down into the darkness was a type of pain they couldnât explain . Frisk shouldnât be alive for that, yet they were .
Though it wasnât actually âFriskâ this time feeling everything - Hell , who was sick enough to try and replicate that type of pain for a PLAYER to experience . It wasnât even VOID - it was their own friend . &&. They even failed to mention there was no quitting this time around ; it wasnât until they hit the ground , the golden flowers failed to cushion - that they realized what type of game they were playing . .
The pain was what got them really going ; it freaked them out before they could even begin . The way the codes didnât match the original , &. The way their body would glitch with every hit they endured . Flowery was the first to notice the second they fell ; not even bothering to attack them. He backed off, and observed the others action through the first timeline .
That first âtimelineâ didnât get far ; once they realized they couldnât get âoutâ the game, they started to panic - trying to grab something that wasnât there - a button that was out of reach.
When that didnât work? They started to throw themselves into puzzles that would hurt them. When Toriel was leading them through the first spiked puzzle ? they walked off the right path on purpose. When a monster would attack ? They would walk into it .
Each time they died, they felt it - no matter if they drowned ; the water that filled their lungs burned like how it would in real life .
The fire burnt , and their skin would blister â yet every time they died, they would wake up at the last save file ; with just the memories of the pain, yet no scars.
Acceptance was hard to grasp at â cause how could someone believe they were stuck in a game with no exit. Once they tired themselves out trying to âescapeâ , Toriel carried them back to her home.
The human spent the next few days trying to come to terms with their situation, and find better ways to try and âbeat the systemâ instead of just hurting themselves over and over.
They spent the first timeline trying to find âshortcutsâ and âsecret roomsâ they heard of, yet never really searched for them beforehand; it was like looking for an invisible door everyone else can see but them. The first route - despite it being so stressful and painful ? was a pacifist route .
They spent another *six* years doing the same thing, resetting, and testing. Different things, certain ways they can alter the timeline and make it crash. Yet, everytime? Nothing worked. No matter how much of their own blood spilled, how much time they spent trying to outsmart whatever their own friend did to make this game so hard to leave .
They started to lose track of time - using the amount of times they reset to tell time. It was about 20 times before they decided to stop caring about morals ; it was a game. Why should they care if they dust their âfriendsâ for their own gain ? It wasnât like âtheyâ were real.
They started to experiment on other monsterâs soul - trying to see how long the soul can be held together after turning the monster into dust ; aslong as itâs *held* together by something, it remained in tact .
In pervious attempts at the genocide route, every battle was a little bit easier the more you did it. Their attack patterns became second nature - even if you decided to leave the game for a few days - they got used to it , and memorized what came next.
Except? They couldnât ever seem to get past sans . That alone is what grew their hatred towards the small skeleton. No matter how fast they moved, that lazy bastard always had more hits on the human than they could ever land .
It was stupid luck that got them this far â more so when they finally managed to slice that stupid grin off his face .
The only reason they got this far ? was to take his soul . After a certain amount of time, and resets ? they only had time to think ; who had the ability to teleport ? Who could possibly know about this âgameâ with resets and determination? &&. A parasite .
Trying to gain control of almost everything they can get their hands on, turning this world into a nightmare they couldnât even wake up from . No matter the pain.
Even if they thought about it a thousand times over, & over again ? Nothing would prepare them for how wrong they would be ; once they forced his soul into their own vessel, their game *froze* for the first time .
It only lasted a minute, until the ground began to tremble - cracking at their feet as soon as they attempted to shortcut out. It was almost like something was pulsing through their entire body, &. Every movement was a struggle against it .
