Hello! Question about Inktober. Is platonic Sanzo & Goku and Hakkai & Gojyo acceptable? Or are you looking to just have less of the popular Sanzo Party groupings in general? Looking forward!!
Thank you for your question! For the sake of the prompts, the point is less popular Sanzo party groupings in general. While platonic relationships can play a role in the case of fic, it shouldnât be the focus. If it were to feature those groupings, it wouldnât be shared here as part of the challenge.
Technically we canât and wonât stop you from making the work inspired by our prompts, though, if itâs something that deeply speaks to you.

We are now accepting applications for the Minekura Fan Secret Santa!Â
For those new to Secret Santas, the idea is a gift exchange. You fill out the form included in this post with a wishlist, and someone is assigned to make your gift in secret. All the gifts are revealed and exchanged on the 31st of December. All gifts must be related to Minekura Kazuyaâs works, including but not limited to Saiyuki, Wild Adapter, Busgamer, and more. You can submit fan art or fanfiction.
Some important details to note:
Sign-ups are until September 21st, at 11:59 PM PST.We will randomize after taking into consideration your likes and dislikes, and assign you to your giftee by the28th of September.
There are 2 check-in points: November 1st and December 1st, and all final gift submissions must be made byDecember 31st at 11:59 PM PST
We are allowing NSFW this year, as well as adding the option to list some prompts to inspire your gift giver.Â

Hi everyone! Thank you so much for all the boosts and sign ups for Minekura Secret Santa! (Please check the blog for the info if havenât yet, weâd post the link here as well if that didnât tend to make posts not show up in the tag)
It was the original aim of this blog to do events, both big and small, year round, and we wanted to know what kind of events everyone would like to do! As is, we are considering an art count down to the US rerelease of the Saiyuki manga, although we would like to find some way to include writers( perhaps with short, gen fic) as well as doing a Minekura Fan Demograph poll, cause, well⌠polls are fun?
So please! If anyone has event ideas theyâd like to see in the future, please let us know in a reblog, comment, or private message!
The future
Hello friends, despite the distance these past few months, neither mod nor SO3 are dead! Mostly, we were waiting for things to settlemwith Tumblr and figuring out life, but you know how that goes.
For this year, I still want to put on the event, but I think the step I want to take is making it even less formal than before: take away submission/prompt deadlines, leave it more of a free for all in the vein of the old school kink memes, but just highlighting the side characters/rare pairs.
I donât know if this will be enough to entice yâall, but with already formal events like Secret Santa around, and a good mix of rarepairs in those, I want this to be more open-ended and fun.
If you have any feedback do feel free to comment/message/whatever as per usual! In the meantime mod is going to actually update the prompt/submission/tags page, because apparently I forgot to do that last year. My bad.
Sorry for the radio silence, folks. The thing is, mod has been wondering what to do with this challenge. As an avid rarepair shipper, Iâve been wanting this to be an all year kind of thing, somewhat along the lines of the kink memes of old, but for rarepairs/characters, and not just a promoted event. I was doing my best to figure out how to manage that, especially with Tumblr doing.... //gestures vaguely/
So, I have come up with a couple solutions: Iâve made a Dreamwidth (itâs still under construction) and a Discord. One would be far better suited to the prompt style, but I would love to make a more interactive sort of community more like tumblr was and has been, hence the discord.
I would love to hear any thoughts yâall have on the matter, what would you join first and what should I focus on?
Note that Iâm not deleting the tumblr. Iâll still be here until itâs dead. But itâs best not to leave all our eggs in one basket.
