OFSUMMERANDRAIN

[ flora smiles back, leading summer into the cafe. it’s much quieter here, with only a few patrons scattered around. ]

     She blushes slightly, and rubs the back of her head with her free hand, chuckling a little. She looks around, relaxing now that the crowded areas were behind them. A breath of relief, followed by looking around for a place for them to sit.

[ flora gives summer’s hand a soft squeeze. leading her through the streets. they’re lucky it’s relatively quiet, until they approach the main streets. ]

     She smiled, and gave a happy chuckle to Flora, or at least an attempt of one. She felt her hand being squeezed, and looked down at it before nodding. Most the time she didn’t need to be on the Main Streets, or if she did she had someone with her...

ah! yes, of course. i know the way, it’s a really nice little place.

[ flora offers her hand, before rconsidering, nervously letting it dangle by her side. ]

      ❛ Well geez, if you say it’s nice this place must be top notch. ❜

     She teased, smiling at the other. A playful gleam in her eye.

      ❛ Aw you’re no fun. ❜

    Summer winked, and grabbed the bar her legs were hooked around, and in one motion pulled herself up and unhooked her legs. Dropping the short distance to the ground, she smiled at her friend, halfway adjusting her hair back to cover her blue eye.

      ❛ Doubts? ❜

     She asked as she ran up beside him, looking at the bodies. A smile growing on her face, she grinned at him before going for their wallets. She had no care in the world about it. A thief does what a thief does after all, and old habits die hard. Getting their i.d.s as well, she turned back to him, excitement not even trying to be hidden. She was practically jumping up and down.

“Is that a challenge?”

[It was illegal to carry on him, but he did it anyways; he drew his sword.]

“Just watch.”

     She couldn’t even get the words out. She was... impressed and shocked. What was the likelyhood of her meeting one of her dad’s old... well complicated relationship but still. She completely was shocked.

        ❛ You really are Descole...! ❜

          No, that’s not GOOD enough.

“That’s a very good question. I don’t know. I’m part of him, but I’m not him.”

The mysterious figure shoved his hands in his pockets, a scowl crossing his face.

      ❛ Wait wait, what do you mean part of him? Are you like his twin? ❜

     Like the child she really was, the teenager stopped trying to be intimidating. There was no way that this was the same wimp who tried to stand up to her a few days ago. Digging in her pocket, she pulled out a lollipop and put it in her mouth.

      She corrected with a sarcastic tone, a grin on her face before hearing his name. She thought for a second, then scoffed, shaking her head. No way this was Descole.

“Hahahahahahahahaha trust me you don’t want o go back that way after you’ve been seen talking to me. Now if you want to actually live, you better hurry up.”

[He doesn’t grab her or push her this time, but he does take off in the opposite direction of the commotion. He wasn’t dying today. Nope. Too many responsibilities.

     Probably best not to mention that she knows and used to live in this area, or that everyone knew her well because of her ‘father’. Blinking at him, she shoved her hands in her jeans pockets.
