❝ of course i’m scared. i’m so scared. i mean i only have like three months to prepare to be a DAD most people have so much longer than that and even then they aren’t ready. i don’t have faith i’m going to be a good dad, i’m like a twelve year old trapped in an eighteen year olds body. but thinking about not keeping her makes me feel sick and upset. i’d rather keep her and struggle to help support the both of you than not have her at all. besides she’s going to be so beautiful and the love i already have for her is crazy. ❞ he rambles a bit, and there MIGHT have been a few tears threatening to spill over but thinking about the small child already makes him feel teen times emotional. squeezing her hand, he let’s out a deep breath, head falling forward. ❝ i know i shouldn’t, but i feel bad because it’s kinda my fault you are in this situation. ❞ it’s a stupid thing to say and the kiss makes the tension flow out of his body, corners of his mouth lifting upwards in a small smile. 

                                ❝ well it was just a thought that’s all. i guess when we go                                    back home, i’ll have to look around for a job and see if                                    anyone will hire me. but if you can get your dad to do                                    whatever you want that would be pretty awesome. ❞

his thumb brushes over her lips as she pouts, and his own mirror her actions. stiles knows his faked happiness is nothing but a facade and so does lydia. they know each other better than anyone else. he’s sure they are both nervous about being parents, and he has so little time to prepare than she really has, but no one said it was going to be easy. ❝ maybe we should find some near home so we can both go? or can go to the one’s here i guess. at least then you won’t look alone and they know you aren’t a single mom. or i mean we can just watch a bunch of videos on the internet or something. ❞ shoulders shrug lightly and he can only imagine what it was like for her to go to those classes and to see everyone with their significant other and for her to be alone. leaning in and giving her another light kiss, he brushes his nose along her own as he whispers softly, ❝ yeah more kissing is good. ❞ 

                     & he honest to god can’t help but laugh at seeing people’s reaction to knowing                      they have a child, but it’s quickly washed away with the thought of his dad                      finding out. ❝ i hope he’s not disappointed in me. either of them. but you know                      you can sell all of this furniture and stuff to make some money. ❞

“ it’s okay to be scared. and unsure. i mean, it’s normal, stiles.   you can tell me how you really feel, i’m not going to be mad    or upset or anything. it’s scary. i mean, everything - it’s    screwed up, i know. and the plan is FALLING apart but god   don’t tell me to keep the baby just because you want to keep   ME happy,” lydia tells him, honest green eyes looking up to    him as she lets out a breath, shaking her head as she reaches    for his free hand, intertwining their fingers as she studies his   face carefully. shrugging her shoulders, she lets out a breath “ i think the internet could be good. i mean, if it’s like this with    people i DON’T know, i can’t imagine back in beacon hills with   the people i do. it’s just the looks they give me, you know? the   judgy eyes. and god, when i tell them i go to stanford they just   look so SURPRISED. like it’s an impossible feat.” lydia leans    forward, pressing her lips to his once more as she lets her free   hand drift down his chest “ kissing -- kissing is really good,” she   mumbles against his lips.

stiles doesn’t hesitate to help close the distance and press their lips together. in a way they feel so strange but so familiar and he’s missed small things like this. leaning into her touch, he slowly opens his own eyes and gives a smile back. gaze retreats from looking at her to down at her stomach, he’s glad she had confidence in him. because on the inside even though he’s excited, there’s also panic, nervousness. instead the teen softly laughs, looking back up at her. ❝ i have to read like every baby book there is. & maybe we should go to some classes or something. ❞ the smile widens and he can’t help but lean forward again and press their lips together. ❝ i know i’ve missed doing it too. in fact i’m completely okay with more kissing, star wars will always be there later. ❞ 

                                 eyes roll as she asks about another girl and he can’t believe she                                  even asked that question.  ❝ lydia, baby please. i think you know                                  the answer to that question. people are pretty much still surprised                                  YOU’RE my girlfriend. ❞

❝ but you know what, all of that is describing what you USED to be. & how i see you is beautiful, definitely a genius, caring, loving. god you are so many things and i love you for being all of those qualities. i’ve always seen more than meets the eye  when it comes to you. having this baby, will change you in so many more ways than you can imagine. ❞ he just knows it will, it’ll change both of their lives. turning to the screen, there’s a smile on his face and he hums the song softly. stiles tangles their legs together, while his arm drapes over her stomach, fingers slowly brushing across her stomach. everything feels so DOMESTIC and he loves it far too much. he really doesn’t want the weekend to end. ❝ oh of course, you at least can’t miss a minute of the original trilogy, we can watch the others later or something. ❞ leaning forward lips press against the skin of her forehead. 

                                      her giggle tears his amber gaze from the screen to her and his                                       own face brightens with amusement. ❝ i’m not teasing, i’ll                                       seriously walk around here with no shirt on, not even opposed                                       to you jumping on me. ❝ 

❝ oh don’t even think like that. ❞ he’d flick her nose if he wasn’t sure she would kill him for doing so. laying down on the mattress and wrapping an arm around her, he’s missed this. just being next to her and hearing her voice in PERSON. feeling the warmth of her body next to his, it’s familiar and comfortable. he loves it so damn much. ❝ well lucky for you i’m gonna be here to watch ever one of them and you’re not going to fall asleep. ❝ at least she’s watched them all, maybe not the entire way but it’s more than scott has which is saying a lot. smiling he kisses the top of her head once again, pressing the small play button so the movie can start. ❝ i’ve really missed you too babe. ❞ 

                  a smile stretches over pink lips, she knows him pretty well, but                   he knew she’d tell allison also, they were all close with one                   another. ❝ it was an exciting time for me okay? i was really happy,                   like i am now. ❞ nodding that was good, but after awhile he’ll go                   out maybe convince her to go with so he can just buy a quick                   set of boxers for his stay. ❝ maybe for your pleasure i’ll just walk                   around shirtless. it’s pretty rare you know. but i love you, you’ve                   seen it all. ❞

❝ no lyds, i’m just messing around with you ❞ his head shakes as he follows her towards the bedroom and this is the first time he actually takes in their surroundings since he’s been there. arms cross over his chest as he watches her reach up for the dvd and he wonders if he’ll have to go over there to help her pull whatever it is down. eyes widen and a bright smile breaks out over his face, ❝ just when i thought i couldn’t love you even more than i already do you surprise me. ❞ taking the dvd he holds it like if it were to drop it might break. ❝ scratch that, please tell me you loved the original trilogy more than the prequel trilogy and i’ll love you even more. i’m glad someone has appreciated the value of good entertainment. ❞ 

                searching for the dvd player and popping the movie in, shoes are peeled off as he                 nears the bed. ❝ …if it was anyone’s fault it was my own. ❞ because how stupid                 was he forget to use protection? his dad would literally smack him against the                 head for making a dumb move like that. ❝ i did tell scott…and i knew he’d at least                 tell allison, and i knew you’d tell her so. ❞ shoulders shrug as he’s joining her in the                 bed. ❝ yeah i can do that. but might need to stop by some store and buy some                 clothes cause didn’t really pack anything. ❞

“good, because if i made that terrible of a GIRLFRIEND i couldn’t imagine what kind of mother i would make,” she mumbles softly as she looks over to him, scooting closer as she lets her head rest on his chest, the weight lifting off her shoulders as she hears the beating of his heart echo through his shirt, the familiar pattern ringing loudly in her ears. “stiles, baby, i don’t know -- okay? i’ve  watched them so many times it’s all kind of a blur. usually i end up falling asleep after quoting some of the stuff,” lydia whispers quietly, allowing her eyes to drift closed. “god i really missed you.”

❝ i’ve definitely learned the hard way. ❞ her glares can kill, they are far worse than derek’s. even though his eyebrows make everything look ten times better. hands extend out as if she were to fall he’d be able to catch her and once she’s on her feet, stiles doesn’t even need two minutes, his hand already laying in her own as he lifts his body up from the couch. ❝ you know i hope you have some good movie for us to watch, or i’ll be very disappointed. not really into watching a chick flick. ❞ 

         nose scrunches up but then it’s replaced with his eyebrows shooting up, he’s           actually a bit HURT she doesn’t want them to know, it’s not like they can’t          keep it a secret much longer. ❝ are you ashamed to tell them we had sex? ❞          of course that’s a ridiculous question but he asks anyway seeing as that’s          what it sounds like. ❝ i mean just be nice to hear what my dad would say,          he always has the right thing to say. & the pack wouldn’t judge you. they’ll          find out soon anyway when you come back. ❞

“hey, i’m not that bad! am i?” she asks, her eyebrows pulling together as they walk toward her bedroom, the door opening to reveal the comforting king size, a breath of relief pulling from her lungs as she walks over to her bookshelf, standing to her tippytoes to the dvd shelf. frail fingertips scan the titles before  she pulls down the red, orange, and golden covered blu-ray, holding it out with a small smile “i kept these just in case you came over,” she murmurs, holding out the star wars movie,  before turning around, pointing back up to the shelf “i kind of got obsessed so i bought the whole set.”
