I'm from Queens

Have you ever noticed that ( PETER PARKER 3 ) from the ( MARVEL UNIVERSE ) looks a lot like ( ANDREW GARFIELD )? But ( HE ) also go/goes by ( SPIDER-MAN ). Having the ability to/of (PRECOGNITIVE SPIDER-SENSE ABILITY, SPIDER PHYSIOLOGY) sure makes them a force to be reckoned with. They’re known to be (  ROMANTIC ) but also ( ABRASIVE) and they’re ( 28 ) years old.

Though Gwen could clearly see and hear the devastation and pain in Peter’s body language and voice; she still could not even bring herself to imagine just how much pain her death had caused him. Fiercely attempting to push the thought from her mind for the moment as it felt like it could easily consume her right there and then. His words in regards to his target spurred a second wind of determination in her. Despite not knowing the man’s crimes, Gwen boldly and fully steps between Peter and the target. “No? Then go through me. If you truly believe there is no chance I am real then go right through me P…” She stops quickly before she says his name but firmly maintains her position. If he did try, at least he would have experienced more physical contact that would hopefully convince him to accept her presence. 

While she keeps her position, her eyes fill with unshed tears. “I can’t imagine your pain. But I know the man I love is still there under that mask. My father made his choices and I made mine. Even he knew there’s no changing my mind once its set. But please, please stop saying I di–…” Her word trails off and she shakes her head as she once again tirelessly tries to push the memory away. Though a smile of hope spreads across her lips and she gives him a nod of encouragement as he calls the cops to come pick up the target. “Thank you.” Gwen says in a soft caring tone; relieved to see proof she was right. Her Peter was still there. Listening to his words; she tilts her head ever so slightly before slowly reaching her hand out to him. “Take my hand and ask yourself if I ever felt this real in your daydreams. I need you. I keep seeing it. I keep seeing the fall and I don’t want it to be real. I’ve been trying to keep it together but its getting harder.” Gwen shakes her head knowing this whole situation was so unbelievable. “I don’t know how I’m here. I woke up on a bus and yelled when we hit a pot hole because I thought it was me hitting the…” She says, voice cracking as she still tries to hold back the tears.

Nothing seemed right without Gwen in his life there was no denying that, he lost the will to do many things even to put on his costume and play the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. He’d tried to return to normal life stating it was what Gwen would’ve wanted for him but everything seemed to taint him further into the darkness. He stopped pulling his punch, he started allowing the darkness to consume him in a way it never had before, if the loss of his Uncle Ben has opened the door to his darker nature then Gwen’s death all but blew the door off the hinges. He stared at this woman if not a ghost within his mind wondering, even daring to reach out and see if he went through her. So many times he had to remind her that she couldn’t use his name while he was dressed like this but in this world everyone seemed to know Peter Parker only it wasn’t his face plastered everywhere. He expected his hand to slide right through her form only for him to grasp her very solid arm, he realized his grip may initially be a little hard as he slacked on it a bit. “How? You can’t be real…I know what I saw…” His voice is all but broken now.

“You made your choice and I had to live with its consequences, I was all ready to follow you to London. Do you remember what I told you? You're my path and you're always gonna be my path, well without you I had no path anymore now did I?” He mused, pushing her away from him, he couldn’t bear to stare at her anymore. He should’ve felt joy and unbridled happiness that she was breathing and alive but all he felt was pain and hatred, there was nothing left for her to love and that cut him to the core. “You see what I see every time I close my eyes, I fail. What is the point of having all this power and responsibility when all it does is to cause those you love pain and death?” He mused, sighing softly, her voice cracking and breaking, pulling at his heart as he grabbed her hand, it was best to get back to Stark’s Tower and they could talk with his mask. “Hang on '' was the only warning he gave her as he pulled her close and started swinging towards the Tower.

“wow, what are the odds?” noire awed somewhat at the costumed hero as she cautiously stepped further out onto the roof. she actually planned to get some air, escape the stuffy room of her small apartment. last thing she expected was to converse with someone she’s often seen on television or in social media. “what’s hero like you doing on a roof of mines, spider dude? i doubt you can get any fresh air with that mask covering up your face.” she grinned slightly as she took a seat on one of the stumps.

Spider-Man eyed the other for a moment before shrugging his shoulders, he liked being out in the open and hanging out on Roof. It seemed the only time he got rest anymore “I was just enjoying the view and for the record, I just finished lunch only to have you join me late” He teased her after all the Peter Parker of this world was a good guy and he saw little reason to diminish his reputation. “You know a true superhero has to keep himself secret” 

Gwen had to fight hard to stop herself from saying his real name. All she wanted in this moment was for the two of them to get away from this situation and find peace to talk things out and make a plan. All she wanted was him. Peter was her heart and the more her brain tormented her about her possible death, the more she felt she needed to cling to the only person that made sense. Stunned for a moment as Peter peals her hands off of him; so stunned the ending of his next sentence takes her by surprise. “So I did die?” It seemed she finally had her answer and to her dismay, her tormenting brain was proved to be correct. Her heart began to race and tears begin to form in her eyes as she continues to listen to him. The pain and anger in his voice was enough to break her heart ten times over. “It isn’t, no one is worth more than anyone else.” The last thing Gwen wanted was to put Peter more on edge or make him feel trapped. Yet at the same time she desperately wanted to get closer to him. She silently mouths his name, hoping there was enough light he could read her lips by. “I made my choices and only I am responsible for my actions. You tried to keep me away. I don’t regret coming after you and I will do it all again if it comes to that. But I never wanted you to hurt. This isn’t what you think… This isn’t like when you’d see my Dad. I’m here. I’m here and I’m scared for you.” Holding out her hand to him and trying to take a step closer. “Lets get out of here, tell the police where he is and then we can figure the rest out together.”

It’d been years since he’d heard this voice since he’d felt this pain burning him from the inside out, without her the world seemed colder and wrong. No matter how many times he tried to pick himself up and continue on as if he wasn’t completely broken inside but the criminals always seemed to return and wreak havoc on their world. Nothing Spider-Man seemed to do would deter that, no matter what good intentions were swimming around in his brain it never stopped him from putting the full force behind his punches.  “What is this cosmic joke? You aren’t here and you can’t stop me from ending this scrum's life,” He all but growled out after all this was just his conscience trying to keep him on the side of good but right now he didn’t want to give in. He allowed his hands to drop moving away from her, he didn’t need her to speak and try to absolve him of his guilt about that night, had he been a better hero and foresaw past the unfortunate pain of his former friend he might have been able to save her, to alert her to just how gone Harry really was to him. 

“Scared for me? You should be repulsed by me, I’m everything you said we shouldn’t be…Why couldn’t you stay away? I was fine not seeing you as I saw him, every moment I was with you I swear I could feel his hateful gaze knowing I was going to get you killed, and look what happened?” he felt himself deflate and knew that calling the police and letting this one life would be the thing to do so he did just that still keeping his distance. “Are you real or are you in my mind? How can I even tell anymore, how many times have I seen your smiling face staring at me as if a ghost who haunted my daydreams.”

Spider-Man looked over the city lights it wasn’t really his city but it felt similar given how the hustle and bustle that never seem to stop even as the day grew into the night. He heard the person approach before they even wanted to make themselves known as he pulled his mask firmly back on. “Don’t worry, It’s just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man chilling on your rooftop” He mused.

As he continued to speak about the idea of watching the sunset. “I much prefer sunrises.” She said as she looked at her drink for a moment. “I’m more of a night owl. Then seeing the shades of purple as the sun comes up is when I turn in.” She found it funny really that she spent most days sleeping when she worked and by the time she woke up, the sun was setting again. “Yeah, that stuff you can’t even pronounce costs more than anything you own.” She warned lightly. “Oh really? I don’t know about that, Spider. Consider me the upgrade.” She smirked as her lips met her glass, sipping the drink. “I don’t know about that. I think it would be quite funny. I’d love to see his reaction. If he thinks he has a girl now, wait till he meets me.” She laughed, raising her drink to cheers herself.

Peter looked at the other smirking “You would be the only one I could watch such things with giving both our occupations” He teased her finishing his drink and setting his glass down for a refill. He could understand what it was like being a night owl most often his job took him into the wee hours of the morning in hopes of catching some sleep before attempting to be a normal human being instead of Spider-Man. “You’ve always been an upgrade in my life Party Hardy” he teased her laughing a bit “You’ll have him turning a new shade of red and yes he does have some girl now, MJ is her name, I saved her” He mused quite proudly, there were many things the two peter’s shared but he’d never allowed him to have that level of pain. “Plus maybe I don't want to share you with my counterpart” He joked.

Felicia looked him in the eyes as he spoke about knowing the cool places and where to watch the sunset. “You are one big cliche, Peter Parker.” She said with a laugh as she took a sip of her own martini. “No offense Peter but your men’s three-in-one body wash shampoo isn’t really my thing. You wouldn’t have to use them if you just let me have my fun. I’m not hurting anyone…mostly.” She smirked at the end of her sentence. As he mentioned her bringing out a side of him, Felicia watched him before licking her bottom lip. “Leave the flirting to me, Parker. I am way better at it.” She thought about what he said for a moment before shrugging. “Who is to know? Every world needs a Party Hardy.” She chuckled. As he spoke about what had happened to Gwen, she stayed quiet as she looked over at him. “Then it makes it all the more important that you remember her.”

Peter looked at the other smirking softly he knew that after all his ideas of romantic notions were something that was tailored to the person he was trying to court. “So You’ve told me, yet I still caught that hint of a smile at the mention of it, so who knows maybe we’ll bump into each other and watch it together regardless” He replied before laughing shaking his head “I’ll have you know for a broken fresh out of college person the three-in-one was shampoo was a lifesaver, but I will admit your shower was nicely stocked with funnier fragrances.” he teased her before watching the other tilting his head to the side “Well don’t make me wait too long, I hear this close to Gotham there is another Kitty themed Domanitix who could steal me away” He joked taking another sip of his drink allowing the alcohol to numb whatever it could seeing how this first drink wouldn’t last. “Well, in this case, I had the Party Hardy all to myself but do be careful with my younger counterpart he is still innocent” He teased before nodding his head “She never leaves my mind, even during the last time, everything in the world seemed pointless but I couldn’t give up…”

As he mentioned her always roping him back into whatever drama she had started, Felicia laughed into her glass before shaking her head. “Felicia Hardy. Stealer of jewels and hearts.” And perhaps happiness in some cases but she omitted that detail. “Peter, I’ll always have a thing for you. Web print long johns just do something for me.” She chuckled before settling down. “I don’t know. I guess just a lot of my best and worst times were with you or because of you, so it has made some weird bond.” As she said it, she imitated a gagging sound. “God, that was gross.” She muttered as she walked to her kitchen. Sleek and open plan. “Oh honey, you know I would kick your ass in a fighter. I won’t use my claws if you won’t use your web shooters. That stuff is a nightmare to get out of my hair.” She looked over at him before letting out a humored scoff. “I am going to assume trauma makes your flirtatious.” She said as she began to line the frozen glasses with vermouth before dumping it carelessly and aimlessly on the floor. That was Felicia for you. At his question, Felicia stayed quiet as she poured the frosted gin into both glasses. “It is okay. Just trying to rebuild everything I lost at home or was home. I don’t even know if it still even exists.” Felicia murmured, cutting the twists of lemon before squeezing into the drinks. “But it is fine. Kinda like hitting the reset button on life. Turns out, I’m really popular. This world definitely needed a Felicia Hardy.” She ran the lemon around the edges of the glasses before dumping in a wedge in each glass. “I would ask you but tonight kinda sums that experience up to awful.” She looked up at him as she pushed the glass towards him.

Peter looked at the other smirking softly there was no denying she’d stolen his heart once upon a time, maybe she never really gave it back but that was for a later Peter to deal with. “Yeah? Well, what can I say I do know all the hippest places in New York and the perfect place to watch the sun go down.” He mused honestly looking at the other as she spoke it was true they’d been through a lot together, some things most people would never know. “My webs are a high teach creation that if you asked nicely I would help you remove from your hair, but usually when I need to use them you are being less than friendly KittyKat” He teased her for a moment shrugging his shoulders “Or it’s just you that brings out this side to me, we shall never know” He replied watching her put their drinks together he wanted to hear how things were going here for her, He didn’t know much about the differences between their worlds but it did seem like they were missing certain people and experiences between the two Peters alone. “Maybe this world couldn’t handle your beauty and grace and gifted us you completely” He mused before grabbing the drink to sip at it instead of downing it as he wanted. “It’s strange…I’m reliving my worse nightmare again…and yet the world here has no idea who she even was?” He replied softly turning back to his drink once again.

      Natasha nodded. She wondered what it was like to fall into powers. To not have any training or full knowledge of what you could do. It was something she had never experienced. “I’m ready when you are.” Sneaking around with the older spider sounded like it could be entertaining and she was bored. A win-win. Natasha smirked to herself when peter asked about her hacking skills. “Why?” They were good, really good - rivalling even Tony’s hacking skills. Tiny Dancer.

Peter looked at the other smiling softly as he looked at her entering in the password “Well that was anti-climatic, also Tiny Dancer? We are going to talk Mister Stark’s obsession with Elton John” He mused looking around the corner checking to see if there was anything out of the ordinary around here. “So far we seem in the clear, what do you think we’ll be walking into? I’ve only recently started calling this place home.”

        cindy  had  done  decent  for  herself  ;   had  a  place  of  her  own  ,   a  therapist  ,   settling  into  this  new  york  far  better  than  her  own  .   and  perhaps  it  was  because  this  wasn’t  her  new  york  that  made  it  easier  ;   a  true  fresh  slate  ,   being  able  to  make  her  life  what  she  wanted  .     “  can  you  even  handle  hot  pepper  flakes  on  your  pizza ?  ”   she’ll  tease  ,   shaking  her  head  .    “  good  ,   because  i’m  desperate  .  ”

“I always get you, Spider. Even when you think you have got me. It is my thing.” She called out. “I dupe all the spider boys and girls. You are all so obsessed with me.” She teased as she rolled her eyes to herself. As he thanked her, Felicia stayed quiet for a moment, letting the silence settle before she broke it. “Its okay.” She said softly through the door. “I owe you one. Consider this me paying my debt.” She looked to the side as the door opened and watched him step out, fresher than before. As he spoke about needing her, Felicia looked up at him before necking back her martini. “I’d settle for a diamond but different strokes for different folks and all of that.” She chuckled before her eyebrows arched up at his request. “Lucky for you, I make a killer gin martini. I think you are going to need something strong and I need something to make this less emotional.” She said, gesturing between them as she spoke before heading towards the kitchen that was all open plan besides the bathroom and the bedroom.

“Well that is just part of your charm Felicia, it pulls me in without you even batting an eyelash” He teased the other rolling his head he didn’t doubt others would be obsessed with her, she was amazing in every way that he could think of. “Is that all this is? I was starting to think maybe you still had feelings for this little loser” He replied through the door unsure he’d had been able to say the words looking at her. He had such little confidence where Black Cat was concerned. “Well if it’s a diamond you want I may be willing to look the other way to ensure you get something pretty for yourself” he teased her, after all, it was New York City, there had to be something she could find that she liked. “Well I’d love a couple of them, and who knows it’s been a while since I’ve had a good buzz it might make me cuddly” he smirked following after her “So how is life here? Are you enjoying yourself?” he figured that’d be the safe topic for now.

        “Just a hoodie and a mask? At least you had a mask.” Hiding his face was a good start. James was in there with Stark? It sounded like they were getting closer than she realized. “I don’t know.” The new information had thrown her off.

“Yeah I was trying things out, powers were still pretty new if I thought about it.” Peter mused honestly before nodding his head “They usually are together from time to time, We could go check it out” He mused finishing his food, setting the bowl in the sink before pointing to the door. “How good are your hacking skills?”

Felicia laughed out loud for a brief moment as he mentioned it being part of his master plan or so what he perceived it to be. “C’mon Spider. When does anything go to plan when I am involved?” Wherever the Black Cat went, trouble was always sure to follow her around. She sighed a little as he mentioned feeling safe and putting his cards on the table. “Kinda breaking my own rule but I am sorry, you know? About everything. About what I did to you. What happened tonight.” She swallowed her pride but Peter deserved far more than that but it was the best she could do. “Believe me, ending up in a universe that isn’t my own and I am stone cold broke. I don’t do well without my comforts.” As he promised, Felicia slowly nodded to herself. “What about little Peter? Maybe the best person to understand you is another you?”

Peter found himself slowly relaxing while here with Felicia but then again he always did even when they were on opposite sides of things he felt a banter with her he couldn’t very well explain. Perhaps that was just them and how their relationship worked. “I suppose you’ve got me right there” he chuckled softly moving to dry himself off and change into his backup clothes when he heard her words it stilled his movements. “Me too…but you were here tonight, and I can’t thank you enough for just being here this time around” He let the words leave his mouth no higher than a whisper. At her next question he opened the door looking much more like himself than when he arrived, “I don’t know I’ve not thought about it to be honest the moment it happened…I was lost to rage and despair…and I just knew I needed to find you that…I *needed* you” He looked at her for a moment “I suppose your logic does hold something to look into.” He gave her a soft smile “But I think I need a drink first”
