Sunshine

   “Don’t be nervous, sunshine,” Ben breathed, sensing her unease. Her body, just like her voice, felt to shake just a tad. It filled the blond with warmth, which was strange — he never enjoyed seeing Liane unhappy. But this wasn’t sadness, this was nerves. He couldn’t recall the last time he saw Liane’s feelings lain so bare like this — he felt as though this was truly an intimate moment. 

“I’ve got you.” With the words, he stepped backwards, pulling Liane’s body with him as he started to twirl around the room. His azure eyes stayed glued to Liane’s breathtakingly beautiful golden ones as they danced — he was so starstruck by the girl.

   A breath she hadn’t realised she had been holding was released, allowing herself to relax in his hold. It’s just Ben -- so, why was she so nervous that she was going to mess this up? She felt comfortable showing him other emotions, besides her undying happiness. 

   His nerves settled as she spoke the words. Taking Liane anywhere — while he knew she would enjoy anyplace as long as the two of them were together — still brought some anxiety. It was possible that some places that struck his interest would not do the same for the brunette, 

“I’m pleased that you’re pleased,” Ben laughed, rubbing the back of his neck uneasily. 

   Anywhere that Ben would take Liane would always make her happy, mostly due to his company -- but it was interesting knowing what places he liked being; she enjoys knowing that they could be different to what she would choose.
