                    rick was strangely not biting her head off. aye he had been short tempered, but the fact being he wasn’t in a state and tried to operate li9ke a hammer, least not with her. jokers and the joker himself, would feel the blunt force America Great Special forces officer, but he held it together. her accent, thanks for his attendance at West Point he had seen jersey-dialects but the toonish energy did take some thinking. “ also the one with the biggest prize out on her head. Everyone thins you’re open game.” He studied her and for a moment found himself relating to the woman. course his was a life of duty and compromised  honor but he knew what it was to be pursued, “ you always go around dressed like elton john?” 

                      harley was growing suspicious of the way rick stayed a few steps from her. he wasn’t fighting her, wasn’t snapping at her like he usually had, if anything he was being sorta nice. “ is this a new you? ‘coz i gotta say ricky i like it. ” she beamed towards him, her hand resting on her hip as the moment was cut short. “ ooo how much am i worth? ten mil, twenty, no wait four hundred trillion dollars? ” she asked her free hand placing her pinky to her lips reenacting dr. evil from austin powers. harley delt with most things like it was joke or at least a game show of her life, but the seriousness of his words had cut a little deep. everyone wanted her head, wanted to send a message to the joker and the fact that they thought for even a second that he genuinely cared about what happened to her, hurt he more than she would ever admit. his comment pulled a smile to her lips, breaking her from her worries as she closed the distance between them. “ you like it? the way i see it ricky, is if i’m gonna end up back in jail then i wanna make sure i look fabulous doing it. plus elton’s a total babe! ugh, shame he’s gay. he’d totally be good in bed. ” she giggled, her mind running away with her.

drew as beginning to notice that things were getting complicated. the more they continued, the deeper they’d get. “i’m not denying that! i’m just asking, how long do you plan to be with some guy you clearly don’t like?” he snapped back, eyes narrowing in her direction at her last words. “oh yeah? he pleases you just fine? that’s why you’re here to get fucked?” he scoffed, not buying it.
