âYou mean to tell me that youâve had this the whole time and donât just casually wear it to class?â Sirius asked, laughing with her rather than at her. Maybe it was just because his own was so as exponentially history-packed as it was shitty, but heâd always held a certain fascination for other peoplesâ lineages. Family histories (other than his, which heâd had beaten into his his since he was still in the womb) genuinely interested him, and he didnât see why they shouldnât all have written-up histories; if the deplorable Blacks did, why not everyone? âI am, actually! A few more glasses of punch and Iâll be able to say that with zero-percent sarcasm instead of twenty.â
âDonât be ridiculous.â Kathy rolled her eyes, but she couldnât deny the amusement playing across her features. âI donât think you quite understood me when I said I couldnât breathe. I canât really see either.â The brunette gave a little laugh despite her complaints. âI love my family, honestly, but it didnât realise it was going to be literally suffocating me.â She meant it as a joke (sort of), Kathy would never speak of ill of her family. "You rate your sarcasm in percentages? What is it normally?"
