She hoped it’d be there sooner than later. “That is absolutely true. You speak wisely, Narcissa. And of course; it’d have been terrible of you to let someone walk around with a dress that didn’t look good on them.” A shrug, then. “I am honestly surprised I’m enjoying myself as much as I am; I never envisioned this career for myself, after all. How’s your life treating you, though?”

“Isn’t that obvious?,” wondered Alice aloud, raising her eyebrows at the other. To her – a perhaps neurotically organised person – paperwork was nothing but logical. “The whole system would fall apart if we didn’t document the wizards we caught and the process we’re making on cases.
