although she could usually be found sitting on a stool alongside the bar, this evening, juliet had taken another pathâ to the park. after a long day of writing articles for other people and fiction for her own private projects, she wanted to be outside in the fresh air, drinking something other than iced coffee. the twenty-something brunette had stretched out a blanket on the grass, in full view of the night sky stretching out above. a bottle was tucked in her bag, accessible but out of sight in case anyone came around ( it was after hours, technically ) she wasnât familiar with. but there was someone familiar- a figure walked toward her that she felt she recognized. juliet raised her hand in greeting. âhey. you found my amazing party,â she quipped. âwelcome.â
âyes, this is what the call was for.â she jokingly started into her walkie talkie, which wasnât even on. the terrible excuse for a joke continued while facing juliet, âwe had a noise complaint. this party is just... too amazing. youâre gonna have to shut it down.â she spoke, before breaking her stoic facade. âiâm just kidding, nobody called. beautiful day out, though, huh?â
