I think he meant just because he posts a song doesn’t mean he’s taking the lyrics literal? I don’t know if he necessarily meant RPF with that exact post, but I think he just meant the term of something along those lines. Because it’s not the first time he’s posted a song and people are trying make it like he post them for a specific reason. They think he post specific songs because he’s trying to tell us something through lyrics andddd obviously that’s not what he’s doing. We all like music that we don’t necessarily relate to all the time? So I don’t know why people are acting like if he post a song that means he is taking the lyrics literal. I think that’s what he means like don’t insinuate that just because of a song that i’m relating to exactly what the lyrics are, which is so valid! This is not the first time I’ve seen people talking about the songs he’s posted, so I’m assuming he’s seen those posts before too and he’s like bro I’m just posting music because I like the music, it doesn’t always have a deeper meaning. It’s not really even about Connor for people who think he’s upset about people who post the nice things about him and Connor. So I think y’all can relax with thinking he’s mad that people talk about them and stuff like that cause I just think he’s trying to say plain and simple. OK if I post a song that doesn’t mean it’s about something or this false narrative, people are making this way more than it is. He actively post and talks about Connor if he felt a type of way that people spoke about them he wouldn’t post them or talk about him so I don’t think he’s necessarily mad that people like their friendship or post about them, but why are there people who take it so far to the extent that they think music he post has to do with his personal life always. people take shit way too far like why are you reading into the lyrics of a song that is extra and just totally unnecessary so I would get being annoyed. I think it’s less about him and Connor and more just about people trying to dig into every little thing that literally has no meaning.
He literally posted pictures of them from the event…he obviously knows what he is doing, and that people are going to also share and if he really was worried, he wouldn’t put pictures of them up knowing that people get excited about them. I mean obviously they don’t appreciate when people take it too far (bc there are weirddddddd inappropriate people and I think any normal person wouldn’t appreciate that) but he obviously has made it clear in the past that he doesn’t mind people talking about him and Connor’s friendship… he literally made a Valentine’s Day post with Connor in it ( if he’s been with his girlfriend for years then you know they have a bunch of pictures together, yet he intentionally put Connor in one of the pictures ) and I’m not saying by any means that it means he and Connor have a secret thing I just mean that he obviously doesn’t mind people posting about them and liked the comment that said his boyfriend and his girlfriend. He didn’t have to do any of that, if he felt a type of way about people joking or being light hearted about them why would he be liking comments like that or even posting him? He obviously knows that people joke around, and he does it as well. But also just respect that he is in a real relationship as well! And that not everything he post has a secret or deeper meaning you could still be excited about things and joke but also be normal. So I just mean for the people who are saying they can never post about them again and that it’s completely ruined forever are being a little bit dramatic because I don’t think he meant he expects nobody to never post about them again. He interacts with fans and the ones who are respectful about them online and jokes around too. But also just be respectful and don’t dig into things that have clearly have no meaning or create false narratives. There is a balance you can still love them but also just be a respectful human. It’s really not hard to not post weird shit just take what is given and be happy.
And with the upmost respect, remember what Jacob said! Shane and Ilya are for us and Connor and Hudson are for themselves. At the end of the day remember we all loved heated rivalry first and Shane and Ilya, not Hudson and Connor!! We loved the characters they brought to life first & everyone needs to remember that!
