Evan was searching for someone of recognition. But, being the quiet kid, he didn’t really have all that many friends. So, it was proving difficult. The young male sat at the side of the room, awkwardly sticking out like a sore thumb. This was not his scene at all. He didn’t belong here. His family wasn’t wealthy, he’d never experienced anything like this before. The young wolf didn’t understand why the Mayor had bothered to invite people other than members of the founding families. He saw it as merely and opportunity to flaunt their wealth. “Oh.. No- I don’t want any. Thank you.” Evan shook his head at one of the waiters, before then standing up and making his way upstairs, hoping to get away from the crowds. Entering a room he thought to be empty, the young male then stumbled back, seeing someone else occupying it. “Oh- I’m sorry. I uh- I didn’t realise there was anyone.. I’m just gonna shut this..” He shuffled awkwardly back to the door.
TATIA NEEDED A BREAK FROM ALL THE hustle. she liked a party as much as the next girl but she still wasn’t used to everything this time had to offer. she’d snuck off to try and explore a little. it probably would’ve been frowned upon, but she liked the idea of learning a bit more while she regained her composure. she was sure she was caught when someone else entered the otherwise empty room. as soon as he entered she held up her hands and stuttered, ❝ i-i’m just lost! ❞ at the same time the boy who entered seemed to say something as well. ❝ oh, no, i’m sorry. i just got a little distracted after my head started to hurt. i wound up in this room and i was sort of just exploring. please, you don’t have to leave, it is i who should depart. ❞
