Ambrose Kim

Rebekah chuckled softly at the females words, her eyes rolling slightly at the teasing tone. They’d only recently got back on good terms and the blonde was trying to keep it that way; although there was plenty she did not know. ‘’Of course; although I didn’t expect Nik to take such good care of my belongings but apparently he’s full of surprises.’’ she shrugged, before giving the other vampire a soft smile. ‘’I’m certain i’d rather you had them back then them be shoved in an old box.’’

The smile disappeared as quickly as it appeared upon the mention of a certain Mikaelson, after all these years part of her still held onto past despite the help with her humanity off. “When is he not?” Ambrose mumbled bitterly, but she already that he was unpredictable so it shouldn’t come as a surprise. “If you insists, Bekah. If you’d like, I can also bring back the jewelries you had left with me.” The brunette smiled again, despite her history with Klaus -- Rebekah is still her favourite Mikaelson out of the bunch. 

Ever since the way their last meeting ended, Ambrose had been too focused on her own little plan as per usual. It was true what Calla said about her but she just didn’t want to admit it, not when her goal is this close — to be free of these feelings and the literal metaphor of till death tear us apart. A part of her regret what she said to Calla that day, she had been running and hiding from her because of the responsibility that comes with turning someone. Not to mention it is her best friend that Ambrose turned, upon venturing through the festival alone after some conversation with strangers and friends alike. Her eyes caught a familiar figure in the shadow, whom seemed troubled. “Calla?” The brunette called, approaching the other with a slight worry lingering her eyes.

She nodded, tilting her head at the girl as she weakly smiled. “Perhaps, your night in shining armour may turn up soon.” She teased, a chuckle leaving her lips as she watched around, hoping she would not be made to wait too long for hers to arrive. However, even if she was, she could spend time exploring, and getting familiar with her town again. “I think so— I assume your date will find you, somehow.” She nodded, sighing a little.”Maybe go and venture around? I’m sure there is plenty to see and do.”

If only they knew the mysterious person is far from being a knight in shinning armour but more of the devil himself, but that is the fun part of this event -- no one knows the identity of their date until they meet. “I sure do hope so.” Ambrose chuckled at the stranger’s comment, “As I can be quite impatient.” She pointed it out, a small smile dances across her lips. Perhaps a trip around the festival could soothes out these shivers she is feeling, “Maybe, what of yourself? Are you planning to stand around and wait or venturing out too?”

“And the basket making? It just feels very awkward-inducing,” he said, shivering slightly at the thought of two teenagers being paired together. “I guess it could be a lot worse but it could be a hell of a lot less weird”

Ambrose couldn’t help but to let out a soft laugh, nodding her head lightly in agreement. The basket making wasn’t the weirdest part but the mysterious date, “For all we know this could be some kind of a evil scheme.” She teased, if it is then suppose the vampire have Caroline to thank for. “Have you not bid on any of the basket?”

Caroline was buzzing with excitement. This was the first town event that she hadn’t helped organize in a long time, and for once it was nice to just….enjoy the evening. Spotting Ambrose the blonde smiled widely, rushing over to her side. “You’re here! They’re playing Grease, a super cute idea right? I’m so excited to see who won my basket.” 

That voice alone was enough to make Ambrose jumps and feel the goosebumps raises along her skin, “Caroline.” She turned towards the other, greeting her with a smile. The excitement and anticipation is clear on her features, “I’ve never seen that movie before.” She noted with a small shrug, “Hopefully, it wouldn’t anyone suspicious. But from that, I assume you have yet to meet your date for the evening?”

Rebekah loved things like this they really excited her, plus any excuse to spend time with her love was always a plus for her, at least that’s who she hoped would be turning up because well if anyone else tried to take her on a date she knew full well they wouldn’t make it to the end of the evening alive. As she heard the familiar voice a smile laced over her lips. ‘’I believe it’s called Grease, it’s supposed to be a classic but i’ve never heard of it probably appeared when I was stuck in a box.’’

It didn’t come as a surprise to Ambrose when the blonde mentioned herself being stuck in the box could’ve been the reason why she never heard of this movie, she was familiar with the one Klaus dealt with his siblings after all -- just like how Finn and Kol was treated when she travelled with the family. “I personally think the hype over this movie was over exaggerated but I can see it being something you’d enjoy.” The brunette smiled, “Movie aside, have you met your mysterious someone yet?”

“Grease but if they really wanted to shake things up, Grease 2 would definitely fit the bill,” She said to the girl. “Though it was an unnecessary sequel,” She said with a smile.

Ambrose let out a soft hum at the response, she was never a big fan on such genres of movies to begin with but she definitely had heard of it. “Think I’d take my leave after the first one.”

Erica turned to peer toward the girl beside her, brow raising for a moment as she then shrugged her shoulders, going back to filing her nails. “No idea but it looks like the innocent blonde chick wants the guy with the greasy hair but he’s not who he said he was when they first met.” The girl then lifted her hand to her mouth, blowing on her nails, which were painted red and filed into sharp points. “It’s tragic, really.” She then rolled her eyes. “This whole event is pathetic. I’m just hoping that I find someone hot enough to sneak around the back of the building with.” Erica held no shame as usual.

Ambrose couldn’t help but to raise a brow at the stranger, head cocked to the side as she seemed baffled by her comments. That was one way to describe a movie, “Interesting.” The brunette mumbled with a small chuckle before she shaking her head a little, “I can see why you’d say it is tragic and perhaps even pathetic.” It was as if the blonde was describing her own past love story, one that becomes a cliche choice of romance really. “I’m sure there are enough to go around, I wish you luck.”

Even though it’s been a while since her small talk with one of the stranger upon arriving about this strange hunch and shivers she had been feeling, it’s only gotten worse as second passes. Nonetheless, Ambrose managed to set out the items she had brought along onto a carefully laid blanket. With another soft blanket curling comfortably around her lower body whilst she held a glass of wine in one of her other hand, perhaps the brunette is just feeling under the weather -- a funny thing to say for a vampire. Ambrose couldn’t help but to feel the nervousness builds up at the pit of her stomach the longer she waited, at last -- she heard movement behind her. “Took you long enough, I was beginning to wonder if you decided to leave me hanging for another participant.”
