Hmm.. basically, Sentret are really good scout Pokemon. They have very good memory over sight and sound which allows them to never get lost. They rely on their really good memory over everything. I talked to a sentret about this when I lived in the caves. He told me that a Sentret remembers messages through sound, not words.

In other words when a sentret relays a message to you, he's relaying the sounds and inflections of the speaker exactly, not their message. Kind of like how some birds adopt the speech of humans without internalizing the meaning of those words.

The most valuable pokemon? Oh gosh, that's a tough one. I guess I seem to be used a lot, though, so maybe me.

That's easy. I'm the most valuable. I've never even struggled in my battles.

I think we're all equally valuable in our own ways. All of us contribute something different to the team.

Valuable? In what sense?

If you're talking about being valuable to our trainer, I think Yami values Popcorn the most. But if you're not talking about Yami, then I think we value each other equally. None of us wants to see anyone else leave or die.

I realize I haven't made anything in like.... god damn, I think the last time I published something was April. So a full season ago. I just wanted to say sorry for that.

I've been really good about updates up until this point. But the problem was that I wrote myself into a dead end.

I didn't see fallacies until just now, and it's bugging the crap out of me. I don't know what to do about that story, because now I see the glaring hole in my story. I

It's really difficult to write on a foundation that's so flawed. I feel like I'm bullshitting people.

I still really, really want to write this story, but the problem still remains that I wrote myself into a hole. And I've been trying to figure out how to fix it. Without retconning any of my ideas. But it's... really difficult.

I've ended up distracting myself with other things, things that I love. But that doesn't mean I've given up on this story. I don't want to quit. I REALLY don't want to quit.
